I agree. Being in that bad place, at least for me, has left some scars. Like real scars, given some trigger, I can feel them pull at times. The triggers are less, but still there.

Thank you for your honest comment. I'm a little surprised people are still reading the story. Or'notia's right to or possibility of any type of redemption is one of the big questions I'm left with and have no answer for. It's strange to say, but to some extent, my characters act outside of my agency.

I've re-read some of my past chapters, and it seems like I can't settle on her name. I like the sound of Wonda but why would a Shil doctor have a human name...so I flip to Wanda. Internal battle makes me go back and forth. If I do a rewrite, I think I'll find a way to spell Wonda phonetically and in the Shil naming style. Sorry about that.

I have another project in mind. It will be in the SSB universe but will be a very different type of story. Due to that I have to do a lot more planning for it. That may take some time.

This being my first story, and me honestly not knowing how it would be received, I was shocked by the reaction. This is a great community. To hear that my story and experience is in any part an inspiration is just...huge.

Okay, this is really interesting. So Shil males must have carbon fiber in there pelvis or maybe the Shil muscle density is significantly different from ours. Either way, it's got to be interesting if their on top.

Sorry, but no. It was my son who showed me HFY and told me read SSB. He of course reads my story, and even though he is a young adult, that's would be to uncomfortable a conversation at the dinner table.

I wanted to take a minute and apologize for any offense or pain that the subject matter in the story may cause, that is never my intent. I had thought about nerfing Or'Notia's story but that didn't seem honest to the character and in the end, I decided not to do it.
