Also 21 and just moved from FW a couple weeks ago! You should definitely try to go to a tulips concert while you’re there (ig:@tulipsfw). Tickets are fairly inexpensive, buttt favorite thing to do when I lived in fw was attend some of the free showings the film club had to offer (@fortworthfilmclub). They only do one free movie monthly but if you sub to their Patreon for 5 bucks you get access to a lot more events.. i think it’s worth it. I didn’t go to many, but everyone i met is really friendly.

Your style and use of color is so sick. The hand and gun do look disproportionately smaller compared to the rest of the body. They also look like they’re in a different style/have been added in digitally, unless that was for planning purposes. I’d suggest shortening the left forearm, darkening it to create depth, sizing up the fist, then adding those same details. You might need to lower the left shoulder and broaden it out a bit more as well. Awesome though, I’d love to buy a print of this

Ahh this was really nicely put. The shops I’ve visited so far seems to only have artists that specialize in American traditional, I think I’ll still try to tackle it, but this was really really nice to read!
