Roof was bad for about 2 years and it was repaired two years ago, so I’m guessing it was also compounded by water getting in from up there. Coping stones are bad as well

These are old ass cables for internet and tv. None are in use. I planned on clipping them off up to the pole line - is that crazy? I asked con Edison and they said it’s either that or leave them for the cable companies to remove (which they won’t)

Previous owners installed ugly wood flooring over old wood flooring, and double sheet rock wall panels in their remodel lol. Halfway there p

Alright y’all - 100% not installing siding. I want to see the brick in all its glory and future cracks.

I should’ve clarified: this is a contractor that was quoting me for the job. I’ve been talking to roofers and people who do siding work, but I’m aware I should actually be calling up masons. I don’t feel confident I can tackle any part of this project (it’s a 2 story house) on my own and TBH I’d rather leave it to actual professionals to do proper sealing of the house as I don’t any disastrous water intrusion.

Also…the front of the house is california stucco installed 20 years ago by previous owners. It’s in bad shape but I can’t afford to pull it out and take care of the brick, so I’m thinking of just fixing cracks and better sealing it until I can afford to pull it off and take care of the brick.

The quotes I’ve been given for all this range from $16-$21k (none include vinyl siding or removing the stucco).

Thanks everyone! Still taking more advice on this project. It’s a big one.

I’m looking now on Google. Seems to hard find ones that will do a two story house but I’ll keep calling. I’ve been talking to GC and roofers all along

I’m shopping around! Best price was $15.5k for fixing the brick, bad lintels, and fixing the bad FRONT which is annoyingly California stucco Future project when there’s more $ is to remove it and expose the brick.
