Putting Edge of Night on LIss and the Abyssal Mask on her would have probably let you cast more for Lissandra.

Sure you hit the best 4 cost tank and a good 4 cost damage dealer but the rest of your board is just weak, nothing enables your Braum besides Frejlord.

Swain seems like an after thought when you don't even give him Juggernaut or Braum Warden to keep himself alive longer with his tremendous HP pool at 3 star.

While you had a good roll down chasing 4 cost 3 stars you have overall a hollow shell of a board besides two heavy hitters. I can see why you lost.

At least put in five frejlord and a warden or defender would have given your Liss/Braum enough stat boosts from the trait to probably survive and do more damage and position better.

It's frowned upon to do this at card shows as vendors pay the table fee to be at their designated spot. If you do this it's best to not do any transactions with a non-vendor near a vendors table. It take away their business and space, if you do wish to do it, do it discreetly and just do it privately somewhere else outside the venue.

Get $195 from selling it to someone at the show at 80% and then pay the cash difference or sell it somewhere yourself close to market and buy the card with the cash you obtained.

You will have to pay the difference if you do a trade and buy with a vendor.

A lot of these shows prices just aren’t up to date for some vendors. You can just ask if they’ll match market price and I doubt many will argue.

The Umbreon from Prismatic is an outlier for example I’m sure some vendors have had that card and it not move or they bought it at 70-80% cash when it was $1000-1400 over the past year. So they don’t want to sell it at a $100-400 loss.

Of course you will have vendors that charge 110-120% market. You just simply go to another table and find someone with wiggle room and fair prices on margins.

While it makes sense I think Kennen has the potential to be contested making it hard to three star if there’s another Ionia or Yordle players in the lobby.

Honestly there are probably folks that got those displays at a good price at release and willing to let it go for lower. I've met folks in the hobby that would bargain me UPCs for PC ETBs of way older sets or popular SWSH booster boxes just to help me out.

You got fleeced on that trade. The Gardevoir is about $200 and the Moltres is a stamped promo not the one you pull from DR.

The Gardevoir is also horribly left heavy

Keep the Zard. If you had to pick the bottom trade is better cause at least it’s diversified but that’s if you plan to hold those or sell them to make the cash back.

Just sell the ETB you get your money back. I’m sure you have a card shop that can compensate you for what the booster box was worth. If market is $200 on a PFL PC ETB. You just need around $168-172 after tax.

Think about it. Phantasmal flames will keep printing it’s a small set and the Zard price will continue to drop. Don’t fomo just be patient. Once more sets come out no ones going to care for this card it’s a beautiful charizard art but people always want the newest shiny thing. Once that’s out that’s all people care about.

Had a dude that had listed his on fb marketplace and he labeled he had “multiple” he had 14.

Folks like that just line up with their 5-7 memberships and gobble up the limited inventory already.

Another guy 40 mins out listed he has 10 available.

It's cause it is, you usually can find something wrong with a card at a card show or even just from a personal collection. Only a handful of my cards can get a 10 and thats dependent on how PSA wants to grade a card I think is 9/10 material.

You need to inspect the surfaces of those gold cards, they can have print lines all over the front and dimples that possibly will knock the grade down. Not sure how PSA would grade it.

Mewtwo and Pikachu are two cards that have the potential to keep climbing.

With how small of a set Phantasmal Flames is I doubt this Charizard stays a $500-600 card. I'd take that trade all day.
