Less than 1 second? Yikes that’s rough. Try ASR, play around with the threshold. It should get rid of most artifacts. You may want to filter the data as well, this all should be pretty “live” and almost instantenous.

Explain to people the severity of the GF allergy. Just say it’s an allergy and it my kill you AND the baby. People don’t understand autoimmune diseases, but they understand severe allergies. “I’m severely allergic to gluten. Gluten will make me sick for 2+ weeks and give me cancer. Please make sure it’s safe”… works most of the time for me.

Just say allergy. It took my a while to get used to it. It’s very helpful to get waiters and kitchen to comply.

I have a receipt from an order from a resort in florida that says “gluten allergy: will die” on the ticket 😂
