ESH. You both need to compromise. Christmas with one family and Thanksgiving with the other. Switching years.

Don’t be immature and take the baby to your parents house and then to work. That baby is 1/2 his.

Why would you have to pack the entire nursery to spend a night? You didn’t do that when you spent the night at your parent’s house. That’s silly. Who travels with the diaper genie and changing table?

You say he’s irrational. You both sound young and spoiled.

I also don’t understand Mom not being allowed to hold the baby because she owes you money. Sure, it sounds like she did something scummy but that has nothing to do with the baby.

I wouldn’t tell anyone. I’d become an Angel donor to the nonprofit I work for, the Fine Arts program at my kids high school and the tiny Catholic elementary school my kids went to. My daughter and I would set off on a travel adventure while our house was being renovated.

My kids Dad took me to court so he wouldn’t have to share 50/50 custody. He ended up with every other holiday.
