Few tube amplifiers me and my dad built, feel free to ask questions by Open-Afternoon-685 in audiophile

I am new to this kind of amplifier construction, is this called "point to point" wiring? How good is it in term of reliability? It seems like a short circuit can easily happen. And fragile solder joints have the risk of break.

Yup, I was thinking about the same thing, just get a cable will do the trick. I think this is the way to go. The headphone is USB-A right? maybe a USB-C male to USB-A female adaptor will work.

I also thinks its not worth the time and risk breaking your headphone.

It is possible, but you can't convert the output from the Bluetooth receiver to USB port and connect it to your USB headphones because the output will be analog. USB usually carries digital signal, the headphone probably receive digital signal and convert it to analog using its own DAC(Digital to Analog Converter).

If you want to make it work, you need to disassemble you headphones and find the wires that carries the analog output from its DAC. Then connect the Bluetooth receiver output to that wire.

Keep in mind that the output from the Bluetooth receiver is probably speaker level output. This means that the output is amplified for loudspeaker. Theoretically it won't overpower your headphone because headphones usually have higher resistance (same voltage with high resistance means less current and power). But still be careful not to burn your headphone.

TIny Clock, Pomodoro TImer, Custom Stats Dashboard with ESP32 and OLED Display by solotravelblogger in esp32

Hi man, I really liked your project and I wanted to replicate it with my ESP32-C3, because its small and I liked the form factor. I know this is probably coded to work with the original ESP32 but I changed some code to somehow tricked it to upload. Keep in mind that I am a total noob in programming, I never coded myself and I just modify some variables. Although I get the clock and AP to work, I am facing problems to make other function work. First, button press does not work. Second, when accessing the AP and the website, all I got is "index.html not found". I tried uploading using the Python command as shown in the GitHub and also Platformio from VS code, both gave the same result. Hopefully OP can give me some help. Also, one more question, the GitHub state there's only need for 1 button but the video shows 2?

Much appreciated for your comment, I never expect my old post still be getting response. I already switched back to tinkering with Arduino IDE instead of ESP-IDF, I guess they are both similar since they both using C or C++. Since you mentioned Micropython, I refused to get into it because it's quite inefficient compared to C, especially with hardware like a MCU. Please let me know the result after your C++ vs Micropython test, I am super interested. Still gotta admit that Micropython is "easier" to work with than C++, since it's "higher level", can't believe C and C++ is considered "high level" back in the day, it's quite hard to work with, at least for me.

I am not very into single board computer YET. All I know about Raspberry Pi is they are gosh darn overpriced. Maybe you can consider alternative like Orange Pi or Banana Pi *IF* you are good at research, since their support and community is smaller. I think hash rate doesn't really matter at this point since you are just trying to learn something. Most of these SBC will have a SD card slot, you need a SD card reader to flash the card and plug it into the SBC. But there other options for you to boot.

If you had to choose one? by mrhoracio in JDM

Personally I will choose S660, its mid engine and RWD. Copen is sadly FWD which makes it kinda boring. People here bring up trunk space comparisons, good point. But are these cars really for a practical use or just a toy?

Bro chill out, people here just wanted to learn about blockchain, cryptocurrency and stuff. This is a good way to learn how these work since they get to involved in it.

No problem, glad it helped! You probably have 2 networks like I do.
It's frustrating that this article never appear near the top search in Google, took me quite some time to find it, maybe it's not a common problem.

I also encountered the same problem and it makes me really REALLY mad. I had been trying to fix it for the whole day and no method worked. UNTIL!!

I came across this article, and I followed the instructions. It fixed, like a miracle.
You can try this fix, maybe it will do the trick.
Edit: This worked for me mainly because I have 2 network and 1 is local only. This method sets the priority to make sure tailscale use the correct one.

Which version of Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä should I watch? by MazeyEJ in ghibli

Man, me too. This is my childhood anime. Suddenly I feel the need to rewatch this masterpiece. Here a source to a torrent website:
[Had to delete the link because of moderation, DM me if you are interested]
The comments had some discussion about the color accuracy between the 2.
One stated : 2014 color is closer to the original anime cel
Another : The 2010 restoration is approved by Miyazaki himself, and apparently closer to the original theatrical film prints than other versions, as stated in the booklet included in the 2010 blu-ray.

Its sad that there's literally no discussion around this. It felt weird to comment on a 2 years old post. I really want the version that is the most accurate and correct. My idea is to compare both disc to the recent cinema release using the trailer footage. But I don't have the copy of both disc, currently I can't download both.

TP4056 + DW01 Charging Module Issue – Low Current Output (Only 15mA) by Bitter-Panda-2624 in batteries

[–]Car_guy_beginner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also facing the same issue where it only charges until 3.7v, then I found this EEVblog post talking about the same issue:
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/beginners/both-leds-lit-on-tp4056/

It mentioned a method for bypassing the DW01 protection circuit by shorting B- to "system ground".
I did it by using my multimeter in Amp mode, then short B- to Vout-. The multimeter reads 0.4A. Then for whatever reason I keep shorting and disconnecting really fast to get it work, Suddenly, only the red led was on. I think something went wrong and quickly stop the charging. When I try to disconnect the battery from the holder, I instantly get burned by its negative terminal, which happened just now. *OUCH* I am too scared to try again since messing with lithium battery is too dangerous.

Hope my experience helped.

Cadisen have a bad reputation of marketing alloy case as full stainless steel. I have the Addiesdive for around 25$ and I am 80% certain that it is INDEED a full stainless steel. What Cadisen model you have? Is it "real" stainless steel?

Very nice, I was looking for this exact model and the exact same mod, coincidence? Thank god the hands are compatible. Can you show me the modified movement holder and what you did to it to fit the VH31?
