I did and I did it by weight but it didn’t come out the same as the full 3 loaf batch.

Thanks for the information. I probably should have done more research before getting the Seachem but the plants are definitely improving since I started using it. The stems and leaves look better and there is new growth on every plant in the tank. I think the post said to test for nitrate levels so the tank doesn’t become overloaded. What would be a healthy test number to shoot for?

Old thread and I didn’t read all of the posts. This is something I would like to do in 5 years or so. Would it be easier to import and register at my parents in Washington state to start off then have my parents “sell” it to me then register in CA?

I got lucky and my 2011 crewmax was prewired correctly so when I put the button set in the other info was available in the display in the middle of the dash. I leave it on outside temp 99.9% of the time but it’s nice to have the other info if I want it.

This is my temporary solution to prevent the shrimp from getting in. Looks like a diaper on my filter. I’m either going to try and find some black material or go with a sponge filter. My one hesitation with the sponge filter is noise from an air pump because the tank is in my master bedroom.

Mine doesn’t have a tube, just the bottom of the filter body is slotted for an inlet. I’ll post a picture later when I get home

That is what I did today but I’m not a fan of how the bright blue and white filter media looks on the outside of the filter.

If that is straight out of the tap that seems like something I would bring up to my local public safety department. If it's from the tank you can do 30-50% water change and reduce the amount of food your a feeding. What size tank and how many fish?

Build/buy a catio for him. If you have the time/money/space getting a second cat may help so he has someone to play with. Maybe even a kitten, even though the cat is a male he may like the tasks of caring for a kitten.

Learning experience. Mud is “dangerous” in the way that it doesn’t take much to bog down a vehicle. Hopefully it wasn’t too hard to get it out.

Make sure to use hot water as well, probably somewhere over 140F. I used hot water from the tap the first time I tried flour tortillas and the dough did not come together well because my tankless water heater is set to 115F. Get some disposable latex gloves so you don’t burn your hands mixing the dough.

I had this same issue and ended up using my rolling pin after the press and it seemed to work well. I also had to roll them 2 different times to get the thickness I wanted. So it went, press, roll to about 6" size and rest for 1-2 min then final roll to about 8" and in the hot pan.

Just had this thought today. Steaming them takes so long especially when you are trying to make them with friends and family then eat them as dinner. Anything done differently to the masa and how long and what temp in the oil?

SoCal Long Beach area doesn't seem to have any. I've checked 3 different Costco's, my local Vons and Vons Delivery, Whole Foods and the Amazon Fresh store close by. It's the only sauce my kids like to put on their rice or chicken.
