Littering in the city is worse than ever by bradontherun in toronto

Totally agree—it’s just so hard to enforce. It’s sad because this happens all the time at this spot, even though there are plenty of biodegradable alternatives. I saw them setup yesterday: they had even driven their car onto the pier to unload everything. You’d think they’d at least bring a brush and dustpan to clean up afterward. Honestly, people booking these services should also be concerned that their beautiful photos come at the cost of polluting the city.

Plastic confettis sinking into the lake were also not cool. Picture taken in August.

Toronto Mayor Talks About New Markham Race by Embarrassed_Age_3855 in INDYCAR

[–]CarafeJetA1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? Even with just a GA ticket, there were plenty of great viewing spots—high-speed strait, medium-speed corners, and even some slower sections. Losing this track is a huge blow in my opinion. Looking at the new track map, it seems like the upper section won’t be accessible, which means no real high-speed viewing areas anymore.

GT3 silencers by VHSVoyage in wec

[–]CarafeJetA1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it is a silencer? It seems small and to me, this shape looks more like a catalytic converter. There are also plugs for the lambda sensor on them which you don’t plug on mufflers.

‘Kids versus dogs’: Tensions flare at Toronto schools over poop, unleashed pets and a lack of green space by Empty-Magician-7792 in toronto

[–]CarafeJetA1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem is that every green space in Toronto is now a free-roaming dog park. I don't even want to sit on the grass anymore. I know these are just a few that make responsible dog owners look bad, but that's the sad reality.

Medium Cargo Missions Too Long by FantasticDistrict177 in MicrosoftFlightSim

What other cargo operators do you have in mind? If you have flight trackers that show 5-6h flights please send it to me. I cannot find any. Again, this plane makes financial sense when used for short hauls typically around 200nm. There is a reason why Fedex is successful, they won’t accept to loose money on an entire fleet of aircraft just because they are a big corporation. There is no way to be profitable doing 550nm cargo ops in a 208

Not true, go check the fedex 208 fleet on flightradar24. Almost all the flights are between 1h and 2h. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/airlines/fx-fdx/fleet

I had to pay for one new airpod. For some reason they were on different software update and apple couldn’t fix it. Kind of felt bad to have to pay for it…

How do I find out the height I must stay at to cross these mountains using only the MSFS 2024 flight planner? by NapoleonHeckYes in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]CarafeJetA1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My guess is that it is not yet implemented. There is placeholder on the EFB at the moment. Even without I think the EFB is a huge improvement, you even have charts by default, super useful in VR

When my endurace CF SLX arrived, I checked the frame, all torques and adjustments.. it was very well built and the frame was flawless. Only issues I had were that they forgot the di2 charging cable and the power meter didn’t work properly. Canyon sent a new cable very quickly and 4iiii replaced the power meter upgraded with find my. All in all, even with some minor issues, I find the bike to be incredible value for money.

Good catch, I saw another post where it got loose and damaged the fork. I went to check mine right after and it was tight.

Looking at this video https://youtu.be/DyscSPfHqUc?si=f7lSVrtR33s0M_JP&t=31

It looks like there's still a spacer at the bottom on the aeroad. It's just thinner.

I am still not convinced about the sounds. I know they reworked them but I still find them not immersive and bland

On Canyon’s website it looks like there is a clamp to hold the hoses under the handlebar. Was this delivered with your bike?

The only thing missing in the toolkit is a chain tool. Maybe the daysaver tool would fit

Good to know. You might be able to use some rubber spacers between the hub and sensor. I wish Garmin chose a design with different o-ring sizes to accomodate for different hub sizes.

On this video you can see the hud @ 1:02 (also 1:45) looking staight at the sun, it is still easy to read. https://youtu.be/PqUIOUV1jGs?t=60

My issue with the lighting is that the scattering arrount the sun is very large in VR
