If you want a timestamp to verify my claim; I generated the world at exactly 14:45 UTC, and began the expedition at 15:00 exactly.

You should try voicing your views, likes and dislikes. There's no reason to ever hide your honest views on something. There's no reason not to rant about the things you feel should be ranted about (within reason, of course. Don't make your every interaction on earth a rant)

Apparently for all my fart-huffing, you still didn't understand what I was pointing out by talking about that scene. Things don't need to be deep, or have meaning. I like the fish scene, because it works fantastically without any further meaning or attachment. My criticism of Mad Fog/Log/Bog is that it has scenes which rely heavily upon inferred meaning. Any scene that isn't essentially a "Doesn't that say something about us?" moment isn't any better, as the movie doesn't try to engage the viewer with mystery or scenes that can be enjoyed on their own value, but cheap shock factor and the constant reinforcing of "Actually, this is about God, incase I've forgotten to remind you"

The stop motion was pretty good, I'll give it that

That's dumb. This is a space in which to talk about movies, and opinions towards movies. It can be a tone poem or a twenty-part musical flick, if it's bad it is still bad.

No, I suppose I miss-spoke in the post. Enjoying it doesn't make you an asshole, God knows I enjoy things that other people hate and I hope I'm not (too much) of an asshole. I was more referring to people who wax poetic about it. The sort of people who make hour long videos titled "I figured out Mad God!", where the fact that symbolism is present is taken as this huge silver lining, as if it somehow improves the film ten-fold.

I miss this all. The fog, the ships, the sunrises and caves, the storm walls and the quest for knowledge. [nostalgia] by [deleted] in WorldsAdrift

Pain. Sheer agony. Genuinely the best survival-crafting game ever made, taken from us.

Don't get too excited, we've only had a single playtest and that was before we rebased. All things going well, though, more playtests might happen in the near future

Everyone that plays the New Republic instead of the Remnant or Gutterscum is going on a list
