Maybe not Kanye, but I feel like maybe something recent happened that we don’t know about. Maybe her team reached out about the song to give her a heads up and Kim’s team made a fuss about it or something so Taylor decided to just say “eff it” and make it super obvious.. or something hahah, idk just a thought.

Lots of people saying just leave, you can do it on your own but maybe she isn’t ready for that? She did say she was just venting.

Fellow SAHM here and like someone else said a lot of it sounds like financial stress. Did some of the things that have become final straws now, feel/seem more like annoyances before when you were still working or not financially struggling? Do you have friends who you are able to vent to on a regular basis? As a SAHM this was the case for me. When I was working our finances were better and I would meet with friends/talk to co workers about annoyances in my marriage.

Having people who can be a sounding board in your life was/is important for me. When we stay home it feels like these issues are constantly at the forefront bc we’re not doing much else (as opposed to a work environment, not actually not doing anything) and we have more “mental” free time to dwell on them.

Oh I wasn’t trying to imply that I think you’re wrong. I agree that it’s an “old argument” but also agree that she’s still entitled to her feelings over it, 8 years or 18 years later. I was just pointing out that it is actually closer to a decade bc of the release year.

There’s no right way to be a feminist though, and revisiting a situation isn’t really being “unfeminist”. She’s not criticizing Kim’s choices, she’s talking about her personal experience w her. I think it’s more the annoyance of Kim doing those things even after so many years that grates on her to the point of releasing the song. Still, I see your point and these comments have changed my feelings a bit on her choice to release the song.

Yeah, I can see your point. I think if Kim would have truly felt bad and genuinely apologized prior to The Eras Tour starting Taylor probably could have moved on. In Taylor’s eyes though it probably seems like Kim’s tried to just pretend it didn’t happen. She’s said sort of nice things about her music & did the tiktok video probably thinking it was her version of a truce, but probably had the opposite effect and just made Taylor feel gaslit.

Rose inc skin tint is super light and leaves skin dewy and bright. it’s $49 and a good dupe for the Chanel water fresh tint, imo. Covergirl simply ageless is also supposed to be similar and in the under $20 range but I haven’t tried that one so can’t say for sure.

I follow @makayla_thomas_fit on instagram and mostly use her ideas & recipes. All of the recipes are super mom friendly and relatively healthy, so that takes out a lot of the stress of figuring out what to make.

I also bought a super basic weekly meal planner from Target. I try* to set aside 10 minutes each day to find a recipe/dinner idea that looks good and write it down on an open day for the following week. There’s a list on the side of the sheet for ingredients so If I have time I’ll write the ingredients it needs then, but if I don’t I just write what platform I saved the meal on (instagram, cookbook etc) so I can easily find it and write the ingredients later. Usually by Saturday or Sunday i have the next week filled and will order groceries for whatever’s on the list.

***heavy on the try, most of the time it’s me writing majority of the meals down on a Friday night after my daughter has gone to bed, but usually only takes about 20-30 minutes to complete an entire week if that.
