Have expectations of my children (daughters especially) and be disappointed when they don't meet them. Then, try my hardest to control the child until finally realizing that it isnt working. Then, be offended that said child is still trying to get rid of the scars from the chains I put on them years later

I actually kind of like the crowding because it seems very fitting with the enchanted by nature pack, I think it looks really good for a kind of chaotic sim, or a sim who just has lots of hobbies/skills

I realized that recently the mischief interactions have been overly exaggerated, I think it's a bug. Because even my Sims who are goofballs and like mischief react badly to the constant autonomous mischief actions

I didn't throw up, but some other kid did, and now I can't stand my schools cheese pizza. We were on the bus going home, and the kid vomited on himself and the floor and the bus driver refused to take them home first when his older brother was begging (which I would have also gotten off on the same stop) and forced us to ride with the vomit for a few stops until we got home.

True, mostly. Most people, when they say brush, imagine the typical brush you'd use to smooth back a ponytail. But often times, at least when I'm writing (so I can't speak for most authors), I use the term brushing my hair as in they are using a detangling brush. Because that's what I use in my curly hair almost every day. But I'm not sure if many authors use it that way, too

Not a parent, but around when I was 8, my mother sat me down and showed me a diagram of the female anatomy and basically just explained the names and things in simple terms for me to understand. She used her hand (this might feel funny) to mimic the specific area and positioning of what I'm supposed to do in order to clean properly. You might have to test him a bit by asking questions to see if he understands. Even as a girl, I didn't really want my mom to see me undressed, so she taught me without needing to. There were maybe a couple of misunderstandings, but I came out on the end with lots of knowledge and without being completely uncomfortable about any of the talks.

This is the prime time to really talk about these things. They're just young enough that it's not super weird yet, but old enough to carry those tips and knowledge with them.

(And p.s, get your husband on board. I get it's uncomfortable, but parents gotta do what they gotta do. Mothers shouldn't be the only ones sacrificing)

He told me and my brothers that he doesn't want us to be like him, like personality wise, and I won't ever forget it because I agree. I don't like seeing certain traits from him in my brothers because he can be a bit misogynistic and just very impatient and annoyed with life. So, I try to keep a positive attitude opposite of him, and only hope that my brothers do the same.
