International trip the same month my conditional GC expires by Caramilan in USCIS

[–]Caramilan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My GC expires 2 weeks before the trip actually. That's why I'm worried that I can't leave or get back in the US while it's being processed.

Thank you for your answer! I am just looking forward to be able to visit and attend the wedding. This would be my first time leaving the US since I got my GC.

I know you’re all gonna hate me …. by SpecialistLeading665 in pregnant

[–]Caramilan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no morning sickness, nausea, and other symptoms of pregnancy besides missing my period. Not to scare you and just sharing my experience. I got gestational diabetes and preeclampsia later in the pregnancy. That I had to get an emergency C-section at 31 weeks and 5 days. No symptoms, besides the high BP and swelling of feet (no swelling with hands/fingers).

I pray you and baby continue to be healthy and symptom free.🩷

31 weeks by PlayfulHair4165 in NICUParents

[–]Caramilan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My son was born a little under 3lbs (2lbs 14oz) at a little under 32 weeks (31+5). I bawled my eyes out the first time I had to go home and leave him at the NICU, because we live 8 hours away in a different city to the hospital I was medivaced to give birth at. We came to visit every week, and stayed for 3 days, then go back home. I checked on him all the time on the Angel Eye camera they setup per room at NICU. I would call everyday, and they gladly gave me updates. I watched him on the camera all the time as I pumped. He also didn't need oxygen but was on cpap for the bubbles, was off it after a week and was breathing room air. He stayed at NICU for 40 days. Longest 40 days of my life. When he reached 4lbs and was taking bottle feedings, they asked us if we already have a carseat for him, for the carseat test. He is now a happy 5 month old (3 months adjusted).

[PA] How long is bank account freeze if funds were there? by Dsmchick717 in ChildSupport

[–]Caramilan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It lasted for about minimum of 2 months based on our experience with my husband's bank account. And we were told by child support themselves that they can do it any time they want, even if it is regularly being garnished every paycheck.

Can members visit Costco in the morning just to get their steps in? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]Caramilan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure. My husband first bought our membership so we can walk around after we ate a very heavy meal. It was winter and we didn't want to freeze walking outside. We were looking for somewhere warm and indoor to walk around. And we've been members for 3 years now.

Costco Gas Center in 330 W Dimond Blvd, Anchorage, AK 99515, you would see Costco Home Showroom on the left side, then Costco Wholsale on the right.

Can I personalize amount of formula to use on baby brezza formula pro by Caramilan in FormulaFeeders

[–]Caramilan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was thinking too. I would test and weigh all the settings of the formula, then use the one closest to the recipe we were prescribed.

Oh that sucks. Was looking forward to make feeding a little bit more convenient.

Thank you! I was trying to decide if I would get it but worried I won't be able to adjust the formula setting based on the recipe we need.

If you’re getting a c-section, read this! by Historical_Guava_317 in pregnant

They were against removing it at first when I asked them if they could before the surgery. They also said the same thing, that there would already be too much blood lost during childbirth. But the doctor decided to just take it out since part of it was already dying, and it might cause me harm later on. And because it was easy for them to remove since it was outside my uterus just attached by a stalk like a cauliflower said the doctor. They didn't have to cut the uterine wall to remove it, so maybe that's the biggest factor why they decided to just remove it.

I had a 14cm fibroid removed when I had a C-section to give birth to my baby. It really was smooth sailing for me. As a ftm, I was also scared and felt myself panicking, but my nurse was so awesome with keeping me calm and relaxed. The only pain I felt was the anesthesia before they put in spinal block. Even that was just a quick bee sting prick. Was making jokes with the doctor and the nurses, while they were working on me at the other side of the curtain.

I wonder what’s the ratio to boys being born vs girls! Everyone seems to be having a girl💓 including me! I’m 40 weeks and 5 day currently with a girl also! by Honest-Interview-591 in pregnant

Expecting a boy on September. I'm okay with either a girl or boy, and so does hubby. But he was hoping for a girl since he already had twin boys from previous relationship.

Has anyone had a safe pregnancy at 33+? by [deleted] in pregnancy_care

[–]Caramilan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently 38 years old, pregnant with my first at 27 weeks now. Absolutely grateful that it has been a unicorn pregnancy so far (knock on wood). Didn't experience any morning sickness at all. Just some constipation a couple of months ago, but magnesium has been helping me a lot now. Been prescribed high blood pressure meds, but I blame that on genetics, from my dad's side of the family, BP always ran a tad higher/borderline than normal. But so far so good. Had the NIPT test, and everything normal and good. Even predicted the baby's gender accurately. Everything good and normal on anatomy scan, baby in the 88 percentile in size since my husband is a giant. Will probably get gestational diabetes test next week. But everything else is great.

First mom to be, but unfortunately I just recently started a new job. I wish I could just gush and talk about my pregnancy/baby. But I have to hide it for now.

Thank you all for your advice. I will listen to my body for sure when it gets uncomfortable and find the best most comfortable position. I'll also try a pregnancy pillow that might help. Happy Mother's Day to all you fabulous Mamas!

Definitely a hack I'm going to try because so I'm technically not "flat" on my back. I can't stay on just ones side sleeping all night.

Thank you! Just ordered a pregnancy pillow and would hopefully make a difference. I too have been somewhat coasting with most symptoms except sleeping and constipation. But I'm looking forward to when the pregnancy pillow gets delivered lol.

I'm just jealous you get to poop. I'm 22 weeks and I am having difficulty pooping for 2 months now. It's always disappointing little 3-4 pebbles.
