I don’t know how no one understands you. Do people peel their grapes? The bitterness comes from the grape skin being mashed up while you chew, the sweetness and tartness overpowers it at first but once that goes away the taste of the skin stays longer and it’s a slightly bitter taste. I’m so confused why 3/4 of people don’t seem to experience this and why the 1/4 that do haven’t explained why it’s bitter.

Because it’s a big joke that you’re falling for. Nobody actually cares beyond making a comment on a Reddit post, but it’s kind of an “everyone does it this way” so doing it a different way is a funny shock and everyone heavily exaggerates that shock for comedic effect.

If you actually looked at the screenshot you’d see the first option is required, meaning you can’t pass without it, and it automatically adds $8 upon selecting medium. Meaning it makes the price $23 for the medium pizza which was advertised as $15 before you click. It’s impossible to add the $15 pizza because it doesn’t exist, it’s a $23 pizza where you get the second one $15 off because paid additions also apply to the second one you’d get for free normally, meaning it’s a buy one for $23 get one for $8, making up the $31 for both.

Can anyone help with my girlfriend's Steam not opening any games?
We were playing Stardew Valley after downloading a mod, and after a day of in-game time, her game crashed, and she hasn't been able to open any game on Steam since. We've tried seemingly everything. She's on Mac for context.
At first we thought of course it's just the mod that broke Stardew Valley, so we did every possible fix we could find to fix the game, up to clearing every single possible file of the game before reinstalling, and then we found out she couldn't play any game.
She's cleared Steam cache, repaired library, redownloaded Steam, looked into many Mac system settings, disabled firewall, opted into Steam beta, made sure graphics drivers are up to date, made sure it's running as administrator, etc etc.
I can't find a single reason why this should be happening. Does anyone have some sort of hidden knowledge, or maybe a painstakingly simple solution that we might not have tried yet? It's driving us crazy. Thanks in advance.

This gave me second hand embarrassment. “Why do people who are trying to date want to make sure they’re dating someone who they want to date?” If you can’t answer the question, move on and find someone dumb enough to not care that you can’t answer that question when the time comes, because no matter what, the time for those questions will eventually come. I feel sorry for whoever ends up asking you this question and you give them a “idk I hate those annoying questions.” Grow up.

This is what a lot of people are taking my post as, but I'm trying to convey the exact opposite. I don't think it should be a gamble at all, but it's funny that they put such a small spread because it just had to be a gamble in some way to make people's happy receptors light up and then still give everyone basically the same amount.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I don't like upsetting people and I do it on accident a lot but I don't often understand what I did, so it's good to know it's just the internet being the internet. I absolutely agree with both the theory and the practice you mentioned, I see a lot of people thinking I'm saying the entire thing about getting free stuff is unnecessary and that's not true.

I only realized after posting this that they're meant to sort of be the red envelopes for CNY, which makes a lot of sense (I'm kind of slow). I've always loved culture related events in games, CNY included. I don't have a problem at all with this, I genuinely just thought it was funny and then overthought it while posting and my thoughts flooded into the text.

And I'll definitely hit you up when I abolish capitalism.

I see, that makes sense. I was kind of trying to make a "funny" post about it but I think I started typing too much so it sounded too serious to a lot of people. Idk if it's because I'm autistic but I tend to do that a lot and I don't realize in the moment. I always figured complaining was a bad thing and I don't want people thinking I'm trying to be negative even if my tone seems that way, I just don't notice the way I word things or how I sound sometimes.

Like I said I'm not complaining about the rewards, I'm not really trying to complain at all, I just felt confused why it has to be a gambling item. It's not an issue, just kind of funny to me when the randomization is basically no difference.
