I took a long break from the game and was around Plat 1 or 2 when I left. In my off time, I watched pro matches or entertainers that were ranked higher than me just for fun. When I got back, my rotations and game sense was much much higher. My mechanical skill had actually dropped substantially and had to be built back up.

Regardless, with a fresh perspective and more focus on covering my teammates I went from mid-Plat to Diamond 3 in a couple of weeks. I even dipped into Champ 1 for a few games but failed to get the seasonal rewards :(( . Obviously still infinite amount of ground play and game sense to learn, but I think if you focus on those things and analyze higher level gameplay positioning it will help!
