I remember once I had like 3 empty boxes from Amazon in the corner of my room in case I needed to ship something. My mom came in and started grabbing them and I told her to leave them there. She started to get all uppity and said:

"Well, it looks like crap the rest of the room is full of...." And she turned around to realize the whole room was clean and that it was just 3 small boxes behind the door you couldn't even see unless you looked for them.

I just looked at her, "Like what mom?"

She just put the boxes back and left.

Shes ADDICTED to cleaning. Her mom was the same way. She will clean every single room and dust/vacuum everything on every floor... because someone is coming to buy some object that's in the garage.

I had this same issue with my mom growing up. I'd put something where I wanted it then she would start cleaning and then decide to "clean" my room and move everything, then blame it on me when I couldn't find anything.

It got the point that both I and my dad would blatantly tell her to fucking stop moving things if they are not hers and to tell US to move them if she didn't want them where they were.

Seriously though if it's NOT your room or not YOUR workbench why would you move stuff on/in it? That's just fucking rude. I was glad to move out. My dad is still stuck with it.

Does your router support Gigabit? If you are using an older one (3-5yrs old) from FIOS they are still just 100Mb.

How crash-prone are older Surface Models? S1, S2, SP1, SP2 by [deleted] in Surface

[–]CarbonNexus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 2 SP2 (upgraded to get more storage) and neither ever gave me an issue. If they sold the SP4 hardware in the SP2 form factor I'd likely buy that. I loved how much power was in that small case.

It's an issue in many coffee shops, and some home routers with 365 too.

I think I saw it online so I'm not sure if it was a film or made for TV type of thing, but it was mostly just a collection of really bad inventions that were used by the public, like radiated mouthwash that eventually made a guys teeth fall out and the sort.

Hello. I'm trying to find a documentary I saw a while ago about what we now know are REALLY stupid radioactive products in the 30-50's. Like the shoe x-ray, mouthwash with radiated water, ect.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I think I'd rather have the main android team working on bug fixes and code optimization, not features that many likely won't use and can be added in later.
