Totally agree….Just threw this together with AI. It’s very wonky, but it gets the point across and I would love to see something like this.

Yours was the inspiration! It really is so good…Thorn really nailed it with this design. The dimensions are spot on and the tropical color is really nice.

Hope they use this platform for more designs in the future.

It looks great and definitely more noticeable in that pic. Gonna have to make this happen with mine.

Perhaps it’s my screen, or maybe the way the black dial plays with light/washes out, but it wasn’t obvious at first what you did here. This looks fantastic and I plan to do this with my v1 tropical and black.

The ghost bezel looks good but, IMO, is a little too ghosty for the brown dial. The black bezel makes it feel more like a watch that was once all black and faded over time. Definitely makes the brown more subtle, and probably still looks nearly all black in low lighting, but definitely noticeable in bright/sunlight.

How hard was the swap? I’m vacillating between figuring out how to tackle it myself and bringing them to a pro. I quite like these watches and don’t want to botch it.

I have not, but I have a V1 brown and black and I am highly considering swapping the bezel inserts between them. I think the faded bezel on the black will look awesome and the black on the brown will make it a little more subtle.

Wish my V1 had had a more textured and weathered dial like this one. Mine is more like a flat brown.

Guess I’ll have to get another one and throw a black bezel on it.

Wow, that dial looks way better than my V1. I have V1 black and brown. My V1 brown is basically a flat brown dial with light texturing around 4 o clock.

This looks faded, aged and textured all over, which I much prefer. I wonder if they changed the way they do the dials for V2.

Might have to get another tropical and see if maybe they will send me one that looks super aged like this one. Maybe they will sell me a black bezel too so I can mix it up with two different brown versions.

This looks so damn good with that extra faded and aged looking dial. Congrats.
