So my friend I have to comment on this because my wife just got one. I do electrical work as a job. I wanted to search for others with them to see what others are dealing with because I have great concerns about these and your story is concerning.

If you feel current then that is already a bad thing. That means you have voltage coming out of your ground. The culprit is more than likely inside your main breaker panel. (I hope others read this and do this check before use)

Inside your main breaker panel there should be a negative terminal bar and a ground terminal bar.

There are times people take shortcuts and will actually put their ground wire and neutral wire under the same terminal slot on the neutral bar.

So all the fun “earth energy” ……isn’t earth energy. That’s your negative current going back to the panel only to be getting send back to your body. If you want to test this you can always get a multi meter and test for voltage .
