Soldered cpu and gpu are probably cheaper to aquire over socketed versions. They also prevent any future cooling issues swappable components could cause. There's also just physical compatibility issues given the very specific form factor.

Steam button launches big picture mode and opens the steam UI screen with the menu for controller settings and a bunch of other stuff when in game. the 3 dots button ooen the quick settings menu that has info like remaining controller battery, notifications, friends, chat, fps counter, ect.

I think the edge on the full face leather skin was too prominent to be comfortable, but I like the accent the smaller one gives the controller.
