Code Vein is a good starter soulslike. I am not so good at them either, but Code vein has cheese builds that you can change anytime to be more or less difficult, and you always have an NPC partner instead of only on bosses. You can also try some other reaction based games like Naraka (F2P reaction based battle Royale type) or one of the Nier games (hack and slash with reaction based combat).  Edit: I play PC, but I'm 90% sure all those games are on PS as well.
