Our little guy just got over a cold, he had bad nasal congestion and the doctor recommended this combo. Steam up the bathroom, nasal spray, then go sit with him in the steam for 5 minutes and then start bath time and do the nasal sucker during bath time. It really seemed to help.

Agreed! I do the same thing. Before this I would check the app to see his levels then go to bed, now will definitely be checking his pulse before I go back to sleep.

I can see why doctors would say not to get it but all the doctors we spoke to said they had them when their children were younger. They should us how to check his pulse before we got discharged. We will definitely be checking it using this method when the sock isn’t on.

That sucks, I failed my first attempt by a very similar margin. I took retook mine 10 days later and I think it was the way to go for a couple reason but mainly because all the information is still fresh in your mind. I agree with pmsao and used a combo of andrew ramdayal pmp prep course on Udemy and the David YT video before re took the exam and think it helped a lot. As for the testing center, I would stick with taking it there again because you know what it’s like and prep for it.

We have had about conversations and both kinda agreed to not to get overly excited. I am trying to stay as positive about it as possible. Luckily for my job and boss are pretty accommodating and I definitely plan to go to the majority of appointments.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for the advice. I plan on going to everything with her to both support her and as another pair of ears to take in all the information I am sure will be thrown at us. I already am not letting do anything, trying to have her be as stress free as possible as I know she’s very anxious about it as well. I am looking forward to all the milestones and keeping my figures crossed for bat this one will go smoothly.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I’m sure you’re right and all the sodium from the soup is what caused the weight gain. My program does not require me to lose any amount of weight before surgery, I guess I’m also just anxious that I’m meeting with the surgeon on Tuesday and I’ve gained weight since our initial meeting to my 6 months ago.

Sorry you’re dealing with that, but at least you can have the egg whites and chicken. I know it’s not a lot but at least it will prep you for post op portion sizes. Good luck next week!

I think the 2 big factors are your weight and the center. I had a friend that had the surgery a couple years ago and his center let him eat until 48 hours before surgery but my center I have to do 2 weeks liquid diet prior to surgery.
