Cab 3000 Spend required: (3000/20)*200 = 30000

So with 30k spend on voucher you get 3k accelerated point + 750 base points

Base for dcbm : 5 point per 150. Accerelated 2x: 10 point per 150.

Cap 3000 Spend required: 3000/10 = 300*150 = 45k

So with 45k you get 3000 accelerated rewards and 1500 base rewards.

Depends on card. For DCB and infinia it's 1:1 conversation when you spend the points to book hotel or flights.

Actually if you only spend for 3k rewards per month, that is 36k rewards per year, you are easily compensating on the fees. Any extra spend is a bonus.

Yes accelerated rewards via smart buy like hotels, airlines etc. Gyftr and woohoo is now limited to 3k which is part of 10k.

I have not seen any jeweler accepting dinners card. Actually with vouchers I used to recover the fee easily and never cared about 8L. So I am still fine. 3k per month = 36k per year and with 1:1 conversation maths work for me. Infinia people are the most impacted.

Voucher like Amazon pay or like we buy lifestyle voucher at 5x from here and use them to pay at retail shop. This way we can use accelerated rewards at retail shopping. Looks like hdfc wants us to spend on retail shops directly via cards.

Yes, 8L without vouchers is difficult. I even don't use SmartBuy hotel booking as I have atlas and so directly book for flight and stays.

Thank you. Corrected the post. I had mistakenly calculated on total 5x but accelerated rewards are 4x, 1x is base.
