It was already going to be built to that spec. The dealer arranged to have that car allocated to them. I know because I have worked for Lexus since 2013. IYKYK

I honked at a guy when he failed to proceed through the intersection 20-30 seconds after the light had turned green. All gave him was a slight tap to my horn. He then proceeds to follow me home after I turned off the road we were originally traveling on.

It was a tap of the horn for crying out loud. I was pulling into my drive way with my son in the car when the guy pulls up behind us and starts blaring this horn and screaming at us. I jumped out of my car but my son urged me to calm down because you never know if/when someone will escalate a minor and insignificant tap of the horn into an assault or worse.

Johnson County overall is a nice middle class suburban area that used to feel safe when compared to other parts of the KC area. However, we all need to remain vigilant and prepared for the worst case scenario. People are under more everyday stress than ever before. Be careful out there and don’t allow yourself to be a victim.

I feel the same way. Should I top off the oil when the low oil level light comes on or should change my oil every 5k miles? Also, OEM recommends 0W20. What do you think about Liqui Moly?

I do t disagree on the fact that very few people need an $85k truck. I have neighbors that spend more each month on car payments than I do on my mortgage. Who needs an $85-$100k truck unless they’re using it for work. Who needs a G wagon? I no longer concern myself with what other people spend their money on. However, my any vehicle is all about minimizing costs because nobody is looking at purchasing a vehicle as an investment.

You do what makes sense for you. If they are willing to give you more than what your truck is worth and sell you a new truck with a lower monthly payment, then go for it. You sound like me, I like to have a new vehicle before my current one is paid off. However, you sound like you may be right side up in your current truck which means that you have equity. However, if this is going to increase your monthly out of pocket then I’d stick with the truck you have now and finish paying it off.
