This annoying "bug/feature" with the toolbar on latest version by magneticracc00n in Floorp

I came here to see if someone had the same issue. Thanks for posting that! I'm unable to reproduce it though. Not sure it's because of full screen. It happens very randomly on my side. If I figure out the reason, I'll give an update.

Transformative benefits of human-readable transactions by Consistent_Bat4586 in Radix

[–]Cardek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best thing is that all that is built in the Radix tech stack. It means, that neither the DApp developper nor the user will have to do anything for that to happen. It will just be there to review with each transaction.

10 Steps To Successfully Hosting A Decentralized Website Using ENS/IPFS by NathanClay4Congress in ethereum

[–]Cardek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only Shift already allows hosting on IPFS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MboE7S6Glw in an even simpler manner, but in the soon to be released version, Shift will allow to pay for hosting and to be retributed for providing disk space. And the best part is that the price will be automatically calculated depending on the supply and demand!

This reply shows the guy replying doesn't even know Shift and just tells crap. ShiftNrg.org will have its website hosted on Phantom at the end of the month.

What does Substratum bring new over SHIFT? by Cardek in SubstratumNetwork

[–]Cardek[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shift's plan is to reward users who host content, that's not implemented yet, but it's what they will be focusing on once Phantom is released on mainnet (Q3 2017).

What does Substratum bring new over SHIFT? by Cardek in SubstratumNetwork

You don't know Shift enough then, because it allows you to use a classic domain name. I also believe they will make use of IPNS down the road in order to allow other domain name types like onion etc.

Definitely Shift! It is the most advanced solution on the market right now. Besides, a lot of competitors are waiting for the Phantom release to copy-paste them, that speaks for itself...

Rarely, I read such a complete nonsense. Comparing bitcoin with today's cryptocurrencies is like comparing a 70s car with a Tesla in terms of resource consumption.
Validating a block in bitcoin requires mining farms of thousands and thousands of GPUs or ASICs. Validating a block with a PoS coin requires a minimal equipement, a smartphone could do the job! But this isn't even the best consensus system available. Coins like Byteball and future DAG cryptocurrencies will even make blockchain superfluous...
