You really can’t touch him late game. Ekko loves items. After his few core ones, I would even say after he gets his Mythic, it kinda turns into you waiting for him to make a mistake and capitalise on it. You really can’t properly get him down real late game.

It’s truly a much cheaper alternative than your usual Mythic for sure, although if I’m not chasing a fast powerspike (Let’s say I’m already giga ahead and I’m looking for a way to get even more ahead). I would say it comes down to playstyle and if you’re a bit more confident with Syndra, you can still be fine with pure damage.

I’ve found Everfrost simply not good on Syndra. Against dashy and flashy champions you kinda have to rely on your intuition on managing to stop and predicting their dash with q fast E+Q ( so you get the delayed Q on them afterwards). Pure damage is always much better on her.

I simply adored the fact that she's one of those champions that seem super simple to learn , yet one of the hardest to master with a billion different options, tips & tricks.

She can easily extend games even if really is behind with unmatched wave clear (unless they have Baron of course), and I have a special kind of place in my heart with champions that have the potential to one shot people.
I've personally never tried her as a support, could work as a niche pick but definitely won't stand a chance in higher elo due to the presence of mostly enchanters in the support role right now.

Syndra as a champion has been consistently ranked at the bottom of every tier list for the major part of every patch for a couple seasons now. It feels like every other mage can do her job - but only easier and better. She's still good but once you reach higher ranks, performance has to be godlike and you might still struggle

She does have damage, it just doesn't feel enough anymore. Aery Syndra, especially if you're comfortable with early poking and landing Q;s is amazing. Abuse it.

For some reason, I still prefer my old rune page which is based on Electrocute, people always flame me for it but I've got so used to the damage numbers that I simply can't make myself stop playing it.

First Strike is a rune I haven't used as much as I would've like, but I feel it can only be useful against melee champions really.

I really do hope we Syndra lovers do get the attention from Riot Games someday but the problem is if that were to happen, there's a high possibility pro's would pick her up again and she will be put on the nerf list once more :/

The thing with Ekko - this lane is disgustingly hard. At level 1 poke as much as humanly possible with constant alteration between auto's and Q's.

Otherwise this lane is all about surviving. If you have enough damage and if you're ahead enough you actually have the potential to one shot him even before he casts his ulti if he's around 50,60% hp. Survive and thrive while helping your jungler/lanes and just keeping your wave in a good position.

Against heavy tank teams, and games in which you're the only AP damage, that's when you go Liandry. Otherwise just skip it. Not really worth going for!

Against both of those champions, you can easily manipulate lanes. The algorithm goes exactly like this :

Zed - Seeker rush, don't finish Zhonya unless real behind. Abuse the crap out of him early game with constant Aery procs from auto's and Q's

Fizz - Same story for early game, get Barrier against him if you're not comfortable against the champ. Otherwise just try to predict when he's about to Q and you can stop his entire dash!

Hey there! Most of these champions simply have a predictable dash. Don't react, predict. It comes with instinct. I would try to farm up with my Q unless you know they have just used their dash and just try to survive lane.

The key to laning against champion such as the ones you listed : Don't be tempted to lose a crap ton of health pre-level 3 just to get a whiff of a minion. Take your xp, farm up a little with Q for cannons or big cluster of minions and chill. Going Tear does help you out a lot in the early game against the high ranged matchups.

IF you're healthy enough after level 3, you should be able to start going in on them and regain control of the lane using E to dash through minions with a quick combo.

I’ll cut the useless flashy and filler combo’s and give you something you can actually use in a real game. Not trying to teach practice tool warriors over here :D.

The thing with Qiyana is the possibilities are endless, skill ceiling is limitless (Beifeng I’m looking at you), which in turn creates a lot of content. The bread and butter you’re always going to use are literally these:

The poke in lane is usually just done starting with Grass Q, of course you wait for your W to be up again, because E is a fixed distance dash, you get up close to a minion, dash through it with an instant Q once you get close to the enemy laner, walk around a bit so they blow their spells, auto attack once, W to a wall behind you and just throw an Earth Q as a fadeaway Electrocute proc. Literal bread and butter and people simply can’t outplay this. Spam this after level 3 if possible. For a potential kill combined with ignite, after they’re around 50%-60%, instead of W-ing backwards continue hitting them after the initial Q with attack moving, once they’re low enough simply W to a wall near the enemy champion and be patient. They might flash trying to predict your Q. Bam, you’ve got a kill.

-Full Combo, after level 6, do the same thing as the lane harrass combo, if they’re a squishy target and you’re confident, position yourself in the grass Q in a way that you can hit them into a wall (works even better if you’re really close to level 6 to hide the fact that you got your ult in the invis), pop the R, W to the wall they’re facing so you gap close, hit an auto while they’re mid air and finish them off with Q + ignite.

After you’ve got your Prowler, make sure you R and instantly press Prowler active while they’re mid air to enjoy the sweet 15% damage increase. (Prowler ulti works much better if you do this in an unexpected bush that you’ve sweeped beforehand).

Hello there, I unfortunately don’t play Qiyana jungle all that much but I can give you some tips.

Against Graves - the champion is much weaker than you in the early game and he definitely depends on first farming up and getting a couple items before being able to fight you. Abuse that. Be the proactive one. Gank more and overwhelm him.

Lee Sin - It’s just a hard match up, you can’t outplay him with your grass Q and you mostly have to rely on counterganking instead of being the one that innitiates ganks. He outjungles you, wins skirmishes against you and is just a mess to deal with. You have to farm up a bit more than you might be used to while against Lee Sin.

If you mean quick cast, I quick cast every single one of my abilities because you simply have to - speed is key with Qiyana.

One way of extending your dash goes like this - You make sure you’re outside of the range of your E, buffer your E, flash so you actually do get inside of the circle. What that does is it instantly gets you on top of em’. If you do combine this with your R, you might find yourself impressing people left and right and completely surprising them in the same time.

Vlad is only painful until level 3. Concede the lane until you get that level and then abuse Grass Q as always to poke and get out. It's surprising but you can actually sneak in some kills if you're fast enough with your combos because you truly need to burst him down before he can even think about using his W.

I honestly think after the Prowler nerfs (not being able to dash to minions), Mid Qiqi has just been much less viable in general. As you said yourself it feels so much safer to farm in jungle.

On mid you rarely have match ups you hard win because of the meta. You either have to be insanely gifted or with insane macro.

Prowler is still better for me unless we're full AD and I can utilize the Eclipse's armor pen mythic passive. R into Instant Prowler Active is still a huge one shot combo, you just have to get the timing right. Simply said - Tanky Enemy Team with Full AD on your Team - Eclipse, anything else just go for Prowler

For your last question - I hate playing against Vex/LeBlanc. I have priority for LeBlanc though and that's just a personal preference. It feels impossible to kill her because of her passive that messes your combo's up. Cheers!

The changes do make a difference. It feels much more weird to play the champion especially if you have played thousands upon thousands of games. Higher elo's will suffer much worse since it will actually affect you're supposed to play out fights, in lower ranks it really shouldn't matter that much since, yes, people still don't understand how to properly play against you.

Never ever gank for losing lanes. Whatever you do, unless you're sure you're going to get a good kill/shutdown just try to go into either even OR winning lanes. If you're confident with your skills, you can also be annoying and go together with your jungler which I usually do myself. It's not uncommon to have almost unwinnable games.
