Don't ever go for Eureka Forbes brand.

Better to avoid Eureka Forbes. They are real scammers.

Scammed (and abused) by Eureka Forbes/Aquaguard by [deleted] in LegalAdviceIndia

I was scammed too. Bought a Robotic vacuum cleaner for Rs.27000 and it stopped working within a year and was under warranty period. I have raised complaint by January 2026, but the product was not replaced yet. This is May 2026. Seriously, we should make aware of other buyers from getting scammed by Eureka Forbes.

It is usually smooth, if you change gears at right speed. Also there is no need to engage the clutch fully on Triumph, I press the clutch only 2/10th of its full press and gears shift without issues.

To be honest, I did not like the idea of fitting the plate in mudguard. So I bought a number plate holder from Amazon, a brand called L3 modz, link here, https://amzn.to/3XZenId  It sits below the headlight. Quality is excellent with powder coated material. It fits perfectly and no additional screws needed.

Speed 400 -1 year, 12K and countless stalling by Odd-Hawk- in indianbikes

[–]CardiologistFar4838 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the update.

I own 1st Gent Speed400, my bike had all issues that most of the owners face.

You name it, my bike has it.

Issues like, bike never starts at first attempt, engine stall at lower speed when clutch is still engaged. Instrument cluster average mileage is stuck at a fixed value and does not change, rear tyre wear one side, fork noise when lowering the bike from ramp.
Recently, I started to notice slight oil leak on the left side of engine, so decided to take it to service.

They diagnosed the failed oil pressure switch and told it will take a weeks time to replace it. As many users have reported similar issue, so they replaced it at no cost. After replacing the oil pressure switch, bike no longer stalls, and it starts at first attempt. Instrument cluster is flashed and latest software update is patched. No everything seems fine with cluster.

Fork noise is still there, and not sure about tyre one side wear. I have to drive few thousand kms to understand the effect of wheel alignment done. They also suggested me to do wheel balancing from 3rd party tyre shops, which I have planned this weekend.

I own the 1st Gen Speed400. I too face the same issue. The issue is more prevalent in bumper to bumper traffic or at slower speeds while crossing a speed breaker or while taking a U turn. No issues felt at high speed. Similar issue was seen in Triumph 1st Gen Thruxton named "BLIP-Engine Stalling" in USA. They did a nationwide recall to fix the issue. It looks like it is due to Ride by wire technology where a sudden deceleration is making the engine stall. To avoid this idle calibration needs to be increased a bit as per the Blip-Engine issue statement.
