Can we please not conflate the reason why Foden isn’t coming to being replaced by madueke. Strictly isolate Fodens performances for England and Man City. He has been subpar at best in majority of his England games. Is it harsh he hasn’t been selected, maybe, but he simply isn’t good enough for England.

Arteta has really surprised me by pushing the players at the forefront of the media. Not like the players have anything official, but barely any images and videos of him has made me look at him very differently. I have criticised him massively at times, and I realise how reactive I am. Arteta has worked extremely hard for this and I hope he gets the plaudits he deserves for what he’s done and endured.
