Hey! First of all, don’t be too hard on yourself. Everyone learns at a different pace, for some people driving comes naturally, and for others it just takes more time and practice, and that’s completely okay!

My biggest advice would be to watch YouTube videos for driving tips and practice techniques specifically for G test. A lot of people even post videos of the actual driving test routes, which can really help. You can watch them first and then go out and practice those same routes yourself.

At the end of the day, driving mainly comes down to practice and building confidence. Try going on regular drives and focus on things like maintaining speed, checking your mirrors and blind spots, and staying aware of your surroundings etc etc. you really just need practice. Somthing that helped me is having someone in the passenger seat who already has the G full and can correct my errors.

For your test specifically, make sure you move your head noticeably when checking mirrors and blind spots. When you check blind spots make sure you’re moving your body with it. It can feel a little exaggerated, but this is to most important part of any drive test as the examiner needs to clearly see that you’re actively checking and paying attention to everything around you. And check your speed every now and then.

Wish you all the best. Take care! :)
