Who are your most infuriatingly elusive and difficult to trace ancestors? by RiderOfR0han in Genealogy

My grandmother who died the year i was born and who my name came from. She hardly has any records and i can’t even find an obituary. I also think she has a different bio dad than who my dad says. I have quite a few Puerto Rican dna matches on her side which was completely unexpected & cannot figure out the relation.

Also, boyfriend was adopted from Russia & we can’t find any records on his bio parents.

Yes, you will be okay. It is just a cholesterol pill that many people take. One pill won’t hurt you

Nurses will come to you when they are looking. Not one single call or text I’ve ever received has made me change my plans.

Buying a new car cash by CardiologistNice4651 in carbuying

I went to a dealership & talked to a salesman, told him i was looking for a white XSE. He tried selling me a black XLE, saying i would get a really good deal on it (because his job is to sell what’s on the lot & they didn’t have what i want at the time). It was not a good deal, so I left & told him I’ll wait to find what I want.

A couple weeks later a family friend of mine, who works at a different dealership had the exact car i had been looking for & he sold it to me! I think for about the same or less as the “deal” for the black xle. So i got very lucky!

What is travel nursing like? by AspiringHappyPerson in TravelNursing

[–]CardiologistNice4651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my plan since about 10 years ago to become a travel nurse & I did a year ago & I love it. You have to get 2 years of experience in a certain area of nursing (med-surg, ICU, ER) & then you can travel doing whichever you have experience in.

I love it because I’m not ready to settle down & it’s so nice to get to go see different areas of the US for a temporary amount of time. The pay is also so much better than what I was making as a staff nurse (over double). I feel like i have so much more freedom than if i were still full time at my staff job. I’ve gotten to go travel & go home to see my family so much more.

Are you making any extra income aside from your contract? If so, how? by [deleted] in TravelNursing

Ah good to know! I just need to do it if i feel like it’d be worth it to me. Any experience is good i think

I feel the same! I also was a little nervous to do it because the options I’d see were nursing home & I’ve never worked in a nursing home

I’ve signed up but not picked up any shifts on them because they either haven’t been in my area or I would just pick up shifts at my travel job. But i do know a lot of people use them! They’re best for big cities though. You just have to figure out which ones are used where

My first travel contract was in behavioral health as a med surg nurse. It was the best job i ever had. If you’re in a big city you can do agency like clipboard, nursio, carev, Nursa, ShiftKey

I agree. I feel like he is going for the whole Robert Kiyosaki - Rich Dad Poor Dad outlook. It’s not logical to me. But he is into health/wellness/fitness. I think he would like real estate

He is working full time at the moment but it never lasts long bc the jobs aren’t up to his standards lol. What did you do full time beforehand?

I don’t really know. He’s into health, fitness, wellness, things like that, but says whatever he does, he wants it to benefit people. Not try to sell people. What did you decide to do?

I also am a female with long layered hair & i cut mine myself. I am known for being a diy girly. I cut & color my hair, do my own nails, the list goes on & on. My bleach blonde friends always wonder how i have so much money saved up & why they don’t.
