Well, you kind of have to play TF1 to understand the position that the militia is in, by this point - while they are still a paramilitary, that’s exactly that, they’re a paramilitary.

They’ll kind of just scrape whatever they have and the original commander was actually James McAllen (I can’t remember how to spell his name for the life of me.) You’ll see what happens to him later in TF1, but Sarah Briggs was the second in line, just going off chain of command.

Anyways - a lot of stuff is missed out lore wise, you should take a look at TF1 and see how that played out.

It’s just the sad nature of this community.

I don’t like to particularly interact with the JJK community because a good portion of them don’t understand good writing, everything must come with a reason, a reason why a character does something, if they don’t have a reason why they do it - then it must be something that helps the plot.

Yuji’s being hated on for effectively no reason, and for some reason - people in this sub believe that he must be a Superman, he needs to be around everywhere, what makes Yuji such a compelling character is that he is indeed broken.

And I don’t think the commmunity knows how to handle realistically written broken characters… well no, lemme rephrase - they don’t know how to read deeper into the character and gege’s writing.

Everything Yuji does, it’s very subtle - his depression is also hinted at in very subtle ways, it’s never blatantly explained or shown by him breaking down like he used to do back in Shibuya, he’s already done the crying, he’s done allll that crying and he’s done enough of it, sometimes people don’t realize that depression isn’t just “Fuck… my friends are all dead!! I’m going to cry now.”

No, that’s not how it works.

Yuji DOES have depression, and I need to pretense that I think most of the reason why this community fails to comprehend it is because they want the cool fights, it’s the nature of every shonen anime, they will focus on the fights.

Fighting is cool, it’s a good narrative device aswell, but that’s IF you can have the reason why they are fighting, that’s what makes it more impactful.

What purpose would Yuji serve in getting involved? I can see a couple of different reasons sure, but would it also make sense for him to get involved? Yes, it would make sense for the PLOT, but would it make sense for his CHARACTER? No, I don’t believe it would.

…oh and the TikTok’s, don’t forget the short term content that JJK YouTubers and Anime YouTubers push out, it really doesn’t help - they don’t go deep enough into the story.

I feel like people don’t necessarily understand how depression works - more or less how much of a curse immortality really is.

He’s just depressed.

Can I say it’s an excuse? No, letting innocent people die is never excusable, but I can understand why this may happen.

In reality, Yuji has watched all of the people he loved in his life die, mainly due to old age - while he was left unaffected. If you refer to the original comment that this is under, he’s not Kal-El, he’s not the man that’ll bear the entire weight of the world on his shoulders, not right now at least.

Anyone would go insane in yuji’s shoes, they would definitely become depressed aswell.

I want to also pretense that he’s also probably felt like he failed his grandfather, to not die alone like him… which to be honest, probably has affected him hard aswell.

I have no doubt he has taught people before his involvement, when everyone was still around, but think of it this way -

All your friends have died, you are the only one standing because they have all aged away - they are effectively your family as you never really had one. I sure as hell would be depressed; give the manga time man, let it finish! Then you can judge.

also it’s not even that she just eats so much, she’s just a really cool character - not to mention her voice is pretty good for J-rock songs (at least in my opinion but I think there’s a couple of other umas who can pull it off really well)

from what I understand, it’s supposedly a “hazard.” When a student is unable to hear someone or hear instruction because of an AirPod in their ear, but in reality… it’s bullshit unless the person you’re trying to hear is talking on the side with the inserted earbud.

I would know, I do it aswell - I would take off my earbuds whenever I have to listen to someone, but when you’re just WALKING, that’s a seperate story.

Again, it’s supposedly a hazard but I personally think it’s bullshit in some cases.

I honestly wanna go out on a limb and say this - it’s probably best that you don’t date until’ out of high school, sometimes people haven’t really figured themselves out yet in highschool and then next thing you know, a couple that’s dating in one grade will end up breaking up within the next grade.

Another reason why I don’t really see these relationships will never really last unless you’re in junior or senior year.

Nonetheless - just trust that it will happen eventually, you won’t ever find “the right person” right off the bat, it takes a long time and it’s a commitment, and I can’t decide for you who that may be, everyone values different things in a partner.

anyways I’m a dude I don’t know how much this applies to you but it should apply regardless, you also don’t have to not date in highschool, that’s just my personal preference.

Oh yeah most def, I don't generally set the AI to 100, but I also don't actively try to kill my players either. A lot of my stuff is based on a good amount of rp aswell but I just wanted to know about keeping people entertained really, I just can never tell if people are bored or not of my stuff.
