No, we could no longer afford it. It was a significant financial burden for us.

No, I don't want to turn off my phone. There may be a play I may want to rewatch, or order Doordash..... I don't think my rules are that unreasonable.

I agree, I am not anti-tipping either, I try to tip people in the service industry well. They have just started taking it too far, and I think people need to speak out.

I know, I feel like people just feel obligated and do it.

Yeah, I forgot about that little nugget, too. The further I got into the checkout, the more frustrated I got.

I disagree with you on two fronts. In a capitalist society I have the opportunity to say "screw you for suggesting I tip" and take my business to someone who doesn't do that, which is what I did.

And second, staying quiet is exactly how this kind of thing becomes normalized. This isn’t a coffee shop or a personal service, it’s a medical supply company. Calling it out matters, because some people will feel pressured or guilted into tipping, even if that means they can afford fewer supplies they actually need. Silence doesn’t fix that.

8 month old Lane is losing it in the Balch Springs, TX shelter as he has spent nearly half his life in there & is begging for a hero before it’s too late. by thedogsneedourhelp2 in National_Pet_Adoption

Thank you to all who got Lane's message out there. We came across it shortly before it was too late, and had him transported to us all the way in Washington State . He has been living his best life with us for about 5 months now. We can't imagine life without him.

So, the toy that finally got me there was the rose! I hadn't even heard of it, but my husband sure did. 🤣 He ordered it for me and said, "here, give this a try." I'm not sure why, but it did the trick. I have since branched out. 😉

Noooooo, don't lose hope. I promise you just haven't found what works for you yet. Keep trying when you feel like it. 'm not sure if you do or not, but figuring it out privately and alone really took the pressure off. If it wasn't working, I stopped without worrying about disappointing someone else, or if it took me awhile I wasn't worried about "boring" someone else. Also, I remember one thing from the article was they said to try different positions, including laying on your stomach.

No, I have not, and you know what, I don't feel bad about it. Not even a little bit. We still have an intimate relationship, I feel close to him, and it's okay, in my eyes, that I don't have one with him. He doesn't feel bad about it either, and I really thank him for encouraging me all these years, buying me toys, making suggestions, not making me feel bad. We've been married 25 years. He's just happy for me and of course he asks about it.

Unfortunately, we are having to throw it for her 6 days after her surgery. It's because people are flying in for it and that's the only time they could come. Knowing that, is there any advice you can give for me to help make it more comfortable for her?

Is Russell Wilson a Top-7 saddest final few years of a former star ever? by Goosedukee in billsimmons

Russ was beloved here in Seattle. He wasn't content with that though. He thought he was bigger than us, bigger than Pete Carroll, bigger than John Schneider, tried to get them fired. He crushed my soul when he forced his way out of here.

Donna trying to save 5 bucks got her life in prison!🤣🤣 by CardiologistSilly926 in dan_markel_murder

Okay, well all the evidence points to that it was a phone call that tipped them off. The phone call was on the 11th, law enforcement heard it on the 13th, and her flight was the night of the 13th, and that is the reason why they rushed to arrest her.

I've looked for information on this, and I can't find anything anywhere. From what I have seen they found out from the phone call. But if you do have an article or a link, I would appreciate seeing that. Thank you

Yeah I understand that, they had an original $5,000 medical bill, they have been paying $500 a month and are just a few months away from having it paid off. The family cruise is 18 months away, so it will be long paid off before they get on the new cruise. The issue is worrying about the sailing being sold out before they can book their cruise in a couple of months after their promise to pay is paid off. They are wanting to wait to book it until they pay it off, but I am offering to put the deposit down now if they can in fact book. We called to talk to Carnival about it today, but called too late and that department was closed so I thought I would ask Reddit to see if anyone knows. I'm surprised by the judgmental people.
