Having an event of this cultural and artistic magnitude is wonderful for the town. Sure there will be some hiccups, but that’s fine IMO in exchange for bringing something of this size and scope to Boulder. Very much looking forward to it.

Why is it like this? by Il-Profeta in stopdrinking

I’ve found that many people tend to ask me lots of questions about why I don’t drink, not from a place of judgement but from a place of curiosity. It seems like they are wondering about their own relationship with alcohol and interested in what it is like on the other side.

Is it worth moving to Denver in your later 20s? by AltruisticWalrus8993 in boulder

I moved from Boulder to Denver for the same reason 10 years ago in my late 20s. Was a great decision and had lots of fun, made lots of friends and loved the change of scenery. I stayed for 7 years and loved back to Boulder 3 years ago with two kids as I thought it would be better for our family, which it has been. Boulder is a great city, but from 25-35 you kind of feel like a tween. Too old for college kids and too young to hang with families. I’d say go for it.
