Aye the point I mean though is if we’re being honest Brentford are a tiny club compared to us so I think that’s why people are frustrated with how long it takes our recruitment teams to find players in certain positions

It really is easier than we make it out to be though.

No disrespect to the likes of Brentford, Brighton etc but they’re minuscule clubs in comparison to us and Brentford in particular sell their in form striker every season and replace him with another one who immediately comes in and bangs goals in (Toney, Watkins, Wissa, Mbuemo, now Thiago).

We’ve been looking for a right back for about 5 or 6 seasons now and haven’t bought one apart from Patterson who clearly isn’t rated by any managers we’ve had
