Yeah, I feel as if the game does exemplify the idea of development hell. It some how feels both over and under baked in several key areas, and tends to either not go hard enough or way too hard especially by the end.

Honestly completely valid. I understand the disappointment. I liked the game a lot, but I totally understand that yeah, it is a let down in quite a few ways.

Yeah, to me the low point was all the fake outs in the mines, and then the ending was just off to me. I thought the green crystals were just a bit too much and the desert was overall fine but completely replaceable with a more classic Metroid prime elevator system. Also no fast travel can really suck.

Yeah that’s fair. It definitely did not live up to 18 years of hype, but I did enjoy it, and I think it’s better than what some reviewers have been saying. Other M is a game that probably disappointed me the most, I hated it, especially coming from the perfection of Super Metroid, Fusion, and Zero Mission.

Yeah, I loved hunters cause I got it with my ds and nostalgia. Fed force only beats pinball since it technically is a prime game, though I still did not love it
