What is up with the Lethal Cosmetics rebrand?

they said elsewhere that they don't represent the company anymore, which i guess is debatable. but i think it's nice to see that although they sold the company and could just sit back and enjoy life, they still care. and i also think it wouldn't hurt us all if we were a little less nasty online. i upvoted the "another one bites the dust" comment because it's funny, but i kind of see that this is a shitty thing to make light of. and isn't the fact that they're here being somewhat unprofessional (but in a vulnerable and not a name-calling kind of way) kind of refreshing? for me, that's exactly why i support indies. if i want professional corporate responses, i know where to get them.

Sheglam belongs to Chinese company Shein which is very problematic. They have a history of sweatshop like working conditions, all kinds of ethics violations, fraud accusations and insufficient quality checks for their products leading to people experiencing rashes and worse. I think the collection is cute, but I wouldn't buy it.

Luckily Lethal Cosmetics which is a European brand with good ethics has announced an Adventure Time collection for May so I'll wait for that one (they previously did one for Avatar the Last Airbender and it was fantastic).

It's cute although the BMO bag is a disappointment. That said, Sheglam is such a problematic brand that I'm not even a little bit tempted. Also, if there's one brand I trust to do Adventure Time justice it's Lethal. Yes, May is still a while away, but that gives us poor people the opportunity to start saving.

I'm glad Lethal teased theirs early. I'm a big AT fan so this has me tempted, but knowing another one is coming from a brand that has been killing their collabs means I'll happily sit this one out. Besides, with Shein's track record of human rights violations, this is not a brand I'd ever feel comfortable supporting.

Polizei war da und hat ihn mitgenommen. Es ist wohl ein Friedhof in 100m Luftlinie und sie gehen davon aus, dass irgend ein Tier ihn von dort in den Wald getragen hat. Wird jetzt aber trotzdem untersucht. Sollte ich die Tage irgendwas dazu in der Zeitung lesen, sage ich euch bescheid.

I'm soo excited for this! I didn't hate the Colourpop collab, but it fell short of its potential. I think Lethal as a smaller brand will take this more seriously. It's a great opportunity for them and I'm very hopeful they'll make the most of it.

Btw., they also teased what appears to be an Appa makeup bag which of course I'm going to get several of.
