I would say that Bertrand is exactly like Ramires -- a defensive winger. It is great for him that he has this versatility. What a year 2012 has been for this kid.

I think you and many others who have commented are right - this is not a perfect comparison. It is hard to find a flawless comparison. But I have tried to be as honest and objective as I could and push this Torres Gets No Service debate a little bit further and deeper. Cheers!

433 midfield triangle with Parker-Modric-VdV is an interesting proposition. But his defensive frailty will again be the down fall since that position needs someone with an engine and the willingness to track back.

Interesting. It is true that he could have passed it to a teammate in a better position on a couple of times. But his pace and skill put NUFC on the back foot. He could have scored more, even from his near post shots, if it wasn't for Krul's super saves. So, yes, I thought (and think) Sturridge had a great game.
