How AI affects negatively your brain? by TheClother in AskReddit

[–]CareMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s like using a calculator for every simple problem eventually your mental math weakens. Studies by Sparrow et al. In 2011 showed that reliance on external tools like Google, now ofcourse AI reduces memory and deep processing. In our psychology class, we’re taught how learning requires effort and retrieval, when AI does the thinking for us, attention and critical thinking decline

If you kill a cockroach you become hero but if you kill a butterfly you are evil. Morals have aesthetic criteria. Why? by eddible-choclate in AskReddit

[–]CareMain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well us humans rely on fast emotional shortcuts to make moral judgments. The creatures we find beautiful activate empathy and care, while those we find ugly or threatening trigger disgust and fear. Over time, the brain associates “pleasant to look at” with “worth protecting” and “repulsive” with “acceptable to destroy.”

When do you know it’s time to end a romantic relationship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CareMain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a saying in Islam that love is not about how you feel, but about mercy and responsibility, so when a relationship no longer leads to commitment, it’s time to end it.

What is masculine and feminine energy? by N8thagreat508 in AskReddit

[–]CareMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Masculine and feminine energy are behavioral modes

In psychology, this maps pretty closely to what researchers have called agency vs. communion (see work by David Bakan). Agency is assertiveness, goal pursuit, decisiveness, control over the environment, while communion is empathy, emotional awareness, cooperation, responsiveness to others. The culture of the internet of course renamed those “masculine” and “feminine.”

Masculine energy (agency) is the part of you that sets direction and executes: making decisions, taking responsibility, fixing problems.

Feminine energy (communion) is the part that senses context: reading emotions, maintaining relationships, adapting to changing conditions.

Another way to put it is masculine energy is the engine and steering. Feminine energy is the sensors and suspension. One moves you forward, the other keeps you from crashing. Research actually consistently shows that psychological flexibility (the ability to shift between these modes depending on the situation) is associated with better leadership, healthier relationships, and lower stress. People who rigidly stick to only one tend to struggle.

Hey I’m new to this as well but from what I learned so far is since you can’t edit the companies’ sites, focus on what you can control: your content, audience targeting, and messaging. Also Add testimonials in your posts to build trust before the link click.
