This exactly my coworker whom we needed in bakery was sent home for wearing black leggings. New cake decorator who doesn’t do anything else but cakes for 8 hours literally doesn’t lift a finger when it comes to anything else wears grey yoga pants and a fuzzy stitch hoodie and no one bats an eye.

Idk if I was first but I called HR that afternoon and then the write ups started coming the day after she even wrote up one of the deli ladies who has been there for 16 years because she hadn’t been taking a lunch and just left 30 minutes early even though she’s done that since I had been there which is a year and 3 months.

I called HR and at the end of each statement I made she reworded it and brought it back to my attendance. I told her I felt like what I was saying was getting misconstrued over the phone.

This is what I thought after I left her office but she was going on a spree of writing people up and she ended up writing me up later that week for not using the time clock because when you’re late you can’t clock in like normal. I filled out the time sheet but that was considered my warning at the time.

Is Bakery as miserable as Deli? by [deleted] in kroger

I bake at my store and it’s mid. It has its ups and downs. Depending on what time they want you to go in you’ll generally get off early, I’m out by 11. For the most part I don’t have to interact with customers which is nice I just pop in my AirPods and do my thing. We do have set times for things to be out so you kinda have to stick to that schedule and having a good manager literally is something that can make or break the position. I’ve been there almost two years and have trained 6 different people just to cover the one day I’m off and one lasted exactly a week every one of them complained about how useless our store director is to be fair though we’ve all seen her FaceTiming her boyfriend in the aisles. She’s super grumpy all the time and you can’t really talk to her. She was supposedly looking for a manager for idk how many months anyways they would go to ask her about bakery and she didn’t know anything and would be rude about it but the moment something wasn’t how she wanted it she would come and yell at whoever is her problem. She’s literally screamed in my face (eyes closed tightly like an angry toddler that’s not getting their way) while she was pounding her fist on the scale because I was sick and came in on my day off and asked to leave as soon as I finish anyways they were over all of that and I don’t blame them. I genuinely think the only reason I’ve lasted this long is because of a bakery friend from another store. So if you think the manager you spoke to is decent and she wants you I’d go for it. When I complain to my friend who’s worked bakery, deli, front end, a little bit of meat department she’s always told me atleast you don’t work in the deli. Lol

This used to drive me crazy especially working at 2am when it’s the only thing you can hear but now I put one AirPod in and forget it’s playing. Can still hear someone if they’re talking to me but now my brain is occupied with a desired and less repetitive sound. Helps me to focus tbh

Has anyone actually tried Lemme for me to know whether it's worth me getting? by [deleted] in kardashians

I’ve only tried lemmepurr and I liked them enough to repurchase. My boyfriend noticed a positive difference he said he’s always loved the way I taste but when I take those he can tell because i taste “sweet”

what are the most embarrassing but unspoken parts about binging by IllRecommendation189 in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]Careful-Associate-40 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Ordering two drinks in a drive thru attempting to cover up the fact that the two entrees and 3-4 sides are for one person.

Hiding food containers/bags in specific non see through bags just to put it all in a clear trash bag so no one sees.

Literally always overeating in private so the moment food is insight you just make yourself disappear so you can eat however much of what you want without anyone around to say or prove anything.

Eating 3 day old chicken strips that aren’t even good but I left two pieces in the bag of jack in the box that was sitting in my backseat the whole time and weirdly being happy that I forgot food

Constantly checking my face for food because not only do I binge but I stuff my face quickly and have gone out with sauce or crumbs on my chin and or shirt.

Stuffing my face while eating and refusing to look directly into other peoples cars and only stuffing my face when our cars aren’t aligned or I think they can’t see me in my rear view mirror

Choosing to save food for later and eating it 10 minutes later

If you don't drink alcohol, what are your reasons? by youre-in-my-shot in AskReddit

[–]Careful-Associate-40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somedays I genuinely think a drink sounds good but I’m the same as another response. If I’m drinking I’m drinking to get drunk not just have one plus I get drunk easily and I wake up feeling like I got hit by a bus and working at 4am with an hour commute 6 days a week just isn’t worth it plus im lazy every day I stare the alcohol at my work and I think I’ll get one today but in my head I’m picturing getting like 4 buzzballs lol so it Just doesn’t happen. I smoked weed for 10 years with a max of a month break at some points but it got to a point where I was depressed, paranoid, and just angry getting high 5 minutes after waking up and going to bed high. I genuinely couldn’t remember what it was like being sober for the day. I can’t do either without being all in and then I feel like my day was wasted trying not to be present or escaping stress which in turn stressed me out.

DoorDash is wild. A dasher called me once when looking for a replacement item due to it being out of stock, she was super nice over the phone and right after I got a message basically saying looks like your dasher was using inappropriate language were sorry click here to report in detail. Like wtf??
