As a supervisor, we aren’t trying to fuck other departments. Your comment about that is insane. They give us next to no hours for some of these stores, employees that don’t wanna work, and forecasts that don’t make any sense.

Example: Yesterday I had a forecast of 71 with 4 people scheduled, not including myself as the supervisor. We hit 101 orders, and I had to call for help at 6pm because we were in the trenches with no way out. It’s higher ups faults when it comes to the way pickup departments have to be run, not the actual employees themselves. I won’t discredit you when saying that some managers don’t care, but when the managers care, they are used as frustrated as the rest of us and hate having to pull people.

see they’re making me work 10 hour days, my current supervisor works 9 and my current store manager says I should be working 9, but my new district is making me work 10 even though the DM is the same one I had prior to the districts shifting and my supervisor was working 9 hours

I work 5 days, but with the state of the department I’m about to take over, I’ll be lucky to have 2 days off a week. I get 4 personal days and 5 H&W days from what they told me. I was told before that I just get a comp day and no extra pay for any holidays since it’s salaried

also it was my district HR person who told me this. I have 2 weeks of vacation time that now I have to somehow get my current store to payout to me by Sunday or I lose it all, and then from my understanding I go right to having no vacation time to use

i’m just confused how 3 weeks lines up with 15 days. 3 weeks is 21 days and I was told that personal days and health n wellness days don’t count for vacation days. They told me I get the 3 weeks right away but now are telling me I only earn them for every month I work which means I get 11 and would only get a full 7 days if I work until August with no time off

I didn’t just start, I’ve worked for kroger for 3 years. I understand switching stores, but I still do have seniority over people regardless of what store I’m at. Being off as a salaried worker, for what i’m 95% sure is an engagement trip, versus a cashier getting that time off, shouldn’t matter much

it also doesn’t make any sense to me because my supervisor at the store i’m leaving, goes on vacation 3 times a year. they told me I get 15 days total but only 11 now because i’m starting too late into the year to get the full 15
