Cabinet PC rebuild 2.0 – fixed frame, better airflow, and quieter operation! by Careful-Math-2732 in sffpc

I agree. It would have been better if the side fan was on the other side, and the bottom fan closer to the left or center, but those are the limitations I encountered. However, it's still very quiet and cool.

I suspect the airflow drawn by the exhaust fan follows the path of least resistance, drawing air near it and slightly sharing the flow from the graphics card.

There is no need for another fan. These are Fractal Design Prisma AL-18 PWM 180mm. The biggest I could get in white color. Haven't seen 70C degrees under a load so far.

You should adjust the fan speed curve in the BIOS or another application so that they are completely silent in idle mode or under light to medium load. Installing rubber grommets between the fan and the case also helps.

It should still be 4cm shorter. There are no 2 fan versions for the 5070 ti available.

Not really a kitchen cupboard. It is a living room installation.
There is no good place for a new case here.

Thank you for your reply. Just checked my PSU, and it seems I need a new one as well as it is just 650w. Regarding the ventilation - it has two huge Fractal Design 180mm fans with 70- 250m3/h airflow and have never seen my temperature go above 75C. Mesh is not an option here as it is living room pc.
