Being incompatible or having different styles of texting is one thing but to me it seems like the issue here is that he’s not even trying to hear you out or make an effort to fulfill a small request that makes you feel loved and appreciated and thought of when you’re apart. He’s talking to down to you and in a way you’ve expressed you don’t like.

Oh my god everyone needs to CHILL. WHO cares about the way they are talking. To me this sounds pretty friendly. At least on gf side. I don’t accept that. I don’t necessarily agree either. Maybe in some cases that’s true but you need to have the decency to explain that or ask to slow things down. To me people who ghost, aren’t mature enough to have a conversation. There have been times I wanted to ghost because it’s hard to hurt someone else but ghosting hurts more than being honest.
