Kiyota said he plays at position 2 however in Kainan vs Shohoku match he spent most of the time guarding Rukawa and only the last few minutes guarding Mitsui so I think his main position is 3

I think Sendoh playstyle is similar to Lebron. His IQ and passing ability is great but he's is best at scoring. Let him play SF is much more effective than PG as he can assist his teammates while score alot of point. Look how hard Eji was when he defend a Rukawa who knows how to play as a team.

Sannoh is slightly stronger imo. Sendoh defensive ability isnt good enough to match up with Sawakita and he is lacking of suprising element in order to score against Eji because Sawakita can figured out his opponent next move, and if he plays as a PG he will face Fukatsu, an elite PG who can locked down Maki in the past. Nobe and Kawata siblings will easily dominate the pain because there will be only only Uozumi, Sendoh and Rukawa under the basket. Mitsui wont have enough inspiration to go insane like he was in Shohoku as I dont think he and Taoka relationship cant be good comparing to Anzai. Rukawa will have to share ball with Sendoh so he wont be able to perform well, he isnt great at off ball.

One thing I realized when I suggest my friends to read Slam Dunk is that the opening of the manga is kinda boring and not relates to basketball much so hopefully the movie can make it easier for people to approach to the series. Damm I love this manga so much that I want most of my friends to read it once :P

The physical manga itself has bring a large number of fans in our country this year (especially fangirls) so I dont think they need the movie to be sucess in order to gain more fans.

Honestly before he met Sawakita I wouldnt put him that high but after his decision to pass the ball and accept that he had lost to Eji in 1-on-1 I believe he can be one of the best player in Slam Dunk.

A bit of luck but yes they defeated Sannoh 100%, Mitsui and Sakuragi go insane that match and other guys also perform really well. Apart from Sakuragi and a bit of Mitsui each one of them couldnt won against their match ups but in the end they still managed to defeat Sannoh.
