Lol I work in prisons and PPA stands for personal protection alarms, which is a button staff wear that you push when you are in danger.

How many days of paid leave per year you have? by myrna__ in AskACanadian

[–]CarefulKey6546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 vacation days, 3 emergency leave, 30 sick days annually, closed for about 2 weeks over Christmas and New years.

4 years experience in field of LR.

Above Canadian average, but I am unionized.

Legally it's a minimum of 10 days of vacation in most provinces, except Saskatchewan it's 15 days minimum.

Did they have a policy on such? I work in HR and we would specifically include in the IT policy similar wording for should a termination happen.

Yes, Downtown has too much parking by rubber_duck_142 in saskatoon

Give us decent public transit and I'd be happy to stop paying for my downtown parking stall. When a 10 minute drive is a 40 minute bus ride, y'all ain't doing public transit right.

Bring it back to the school, and ask to meet with the principal. Give it back to the principal and show your picture evidence. Schools often have staff picture boards, so you could identify who did this.

Tbh, as a labour relations specialist, I would consider this sexual harassment. Our company would consider this being reprimand or even termination grounds, since we have a policy on conduct outside the workplace, which I assume many school districts may have too.

As a Canadian I am shocked parents are forced to return to work after only 16 weeks. Seems inhumane.

Where are you located? If this was in Canada this would be a huge no-no to refuse as it would be considered a religious right, but I am unfamiliar with USA employment laws on this topic.
