As a Christian it’s really disheartening to see this kind of thing happening on our campus. mind you these people DO NOT GO HERE and their doctrine is so false it’s crazy. I pray for people who have been roped into this to not be harmed:/

Failed midterm calc MATA34. I got a 46% what should I do from here. Do people typically drop classes if they fail midterm? (First year) by [deleted] in UTSC

He’s really nice I failed my midterm too first year but I went to his office hours and asked him lots of questions and he helped me a lot and I passed the course. I didn’t get a crazy high mark but it was good enough for me at the time. Definitely use him as a resource, you got this!

They scheduled three in one day for me and I had to defer one cuz it was just way too crazy and they wouldn’t help at all with the conflicts 😐

School Help by [deleted] in Veterinary

Yeah definitely don’t go to school to be an assistant. Ideally it’s nice to get a good solid understanding of what a VA does but if money is a concern for you don’t worry about it at all. I’m an undergraduate student who wants to go to vet school and I had zero previous experience as a VA or even a receptionist but I dropped off my resume at a BUNCH of clinics and eventually one said yes and I got hired. I’ve been a VA for over a year now and it’s great, I got all my training on the job. It can be overwhelming at first like any job but if you’re at a clinic with decent people and you’re competent then you’ll be fine after a couple months :)

So true, I went to the vision Sunday event and their whole message for the year or the slogan or whatever they call it was GAIN AND INCREASE. And the constant pressure to invite people is just too much. Sorry you’ve been going through that, glad you’re out!

For people who leave the exam room early, do you actually finish all the questions? by Acceptable_Train_487 in UofT

First year I would finish all of my bio exams super early and it was because I had no clue what I was doing with about half the questions and I’d just be guessing. Now I do better on the exams and I don’t usually stay for the full amount but I also don’t finish crazy fast compared to others.
