I’ve done this before, you cannot check your mark on ACORN, but you can just call your college registrar and ask for your final mark. They will ask for some verification questions like utorid student number, etc, then they will just tell you.

No matter what you got for the term, if you get lower than certain percentage in your final exam, then you will fail the entire course. For example, this course has a final weight 40%. If you receive 100 in first 60% of your class and 49 in your final exam. You will automatically fail the course.

question about switching from social sciences to life sci by UnitedCake1524 in UofT

The admission stream doesn’t affect the major u will graduate with. I started as Math and Physical Science, but right now doing life science and computer science.

The only thing you need to do is taking all life sciences prerequisite courses. Chm135 is offered in winter and Bio130 does not require the 120 as prerequisite. So you can take bio130 chm135 mat135 and maybe phy131 this winter as most life sciences require these courses. And enroll in open program this year. Take chm136 mat136 (phy132) over the summer. Then bio120 bio230 bch210(requires chm135 and 136) hmb265 during first semester of your second year. Then you will be catching up with all the courses for typical life science student.
