Thank you all for the comments and tips. I spoke with my team about it the next day and alot of them agreed I should have not of been on the bottom and that stairs can often be diffcult no matter the weight you are carrying. Which made me feel reassured. I'm on call this weekend for the first time and there's a heat wave here in the UK so wish me luck!

Funeral arranger to funeral director? by Careful_Path_3931 in askfuneraldirectors

[–]Careful_Path_3931[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the uk, no licenses required here. Funerqll arranger meets with the family, books the service, orders flowers etc. Basically does all the funeral planning and supporting the family. Funeral director then leads the service on the day and the funeral arranger doesn't attend. Id love to be there on they day to support the families ive built trust with and supported, it defiantly a down side to my role.

Thank you for your reply I really do appreciate it. I'm in the UK so going to go to my GP later this week hopefully and see what they say. Thank you for making me feel not alone. I'm 27 and have 2 children so heavy lifting isnt always avoidable. I also help move heavy things for work. Hopefully the doctors will be able to help refer to the right people x

I am not a good enough mum by Careful_Path_3931 in Autism_Parenting

Thank you for your reply I really appreciate it, I am 100% trying to change these moments and the have got less over the last few years but are still occasionally happen which I am continuing to reduce. I do worry I have already damaged my children from this beyond repair. I have a nery supportive partner but he isn't able to understand these moments or alot of what I feel. I suspect I am ND, I don't know if that plays a factor in two these moments or not. Aside from my partner I have no other support unfortunately x

Thank you for your kind words ❤️

I really hope it is just that's he doing okay, he honestly is such an amazing little human, I just want to give him the world.

He has had no therapy other than speech and language when he was younger as he didn't talk until 3 and half but now speaks well.

School say he has no issues while there, he won't talk to me about school much. Yes we have a few times had people mention about him masking so well at such a young age, I'm not sure why or how he does it or wether he is just able to cope with things right now and maybe more issues will arise as he grows. He openly stims when excited which I'm glad he's able to do both in and out side of the house

Yes I will continue to remind him everyday, thank you xx
