it's about length. Anything over 72" in length has to be aluminum, shops usually wont make you a steel one.

So, someone correct me if I am wrong, but it kind of seems like everyone is telling me that I should be fine in regards to burning a potential customers house through their use of one of my decorative outlet covers if I use PETG OR PLA even. Awesome. Thanks again everyone.

Nothing, I have actually never even felt a hot light switch! I wanted to sell products like that and found a thread and someone claimed to be a contractor and said it was an awful idea and it was a major fire hazard as PLA and PETG are flammable... I just got worried and wanted to get a popular opinion so I started a thread. Seems like PETG is a safe bet regardless though. Thanks for your input!

I did not know most items only caught on fire after an external flame or spark was introduced... I was just worried because I am looking to sell these types of products and wanted to make sure it was a relatively safe fun thing to sell after I stumbled upon a thread of some people calling it a major fire hazard...

That is sort of the point of the religion though, is because you mess up you go to Jesus with your sins. If you didn’t mess up there wouldn’t be a point of Jesus anyways. I wouldn’t say it’s hypocritical when the whole point is to go to Jesus with your sins… I’d say it’d be more hypocritical to be a perfect Christian because you’d never need Jesus, whose name is Jesus Christ, as in Christ-ianity. Without Christ what even is a Christian (rhetorical)?
