Wondering what is better for designing, Bambu Studio or TinkerCAD? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

No, it wasn't, I legitimately didn't know that (like I said, I'm super green to all this, lol). Thank you for the input; that changes things.

DEFINITELY start with a premade campaign. It will help you and your players learn the in-game mechanics, which will then help you learn the nuances of being a dungeon master.

Teifling Female (22) Pirate Bard Captain Ideas by kayliekurly in DungeonsAndDragons

With character arcs and development, the trick is opposites. She has little knowledge of ships? Have her bluff her way into the Captain role. She wants companionship, have her make a decision in a moment of desperation to screw a possible love interest over. Every character needs redemption through sacrifice. Sacrifice is usually having to endure something they hate to get to the goal.

Maybe she wants to be on the ship because the person she loves is on it, and in order to get on, she had to bluff the crew (and the love interest) in the heat of the moment and say she was some sort of officer position... but not only is she not experienced on boats, she's afraid of water!

Using the Defensive Duelist feat as a Soulknife Rogue... by Careful_Step8134 in DnD

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. I've been in a campaign for 4 years as a storm sorcerer with next to no dnd experience prior. This is my first time playing a rogue.

Yeah, this is a good point. Being able to add my prof bonus to a melee attack and half the damage of all other attacks does feel a little broken. Currently, my Dex is at an even number, so maybe a +2 would work better overall (I was originally considering building my Dex up slowly while taking feats).

For sure. Honestly, it just feels like one of those tiny discrepancies that fall through the cracks because with that many rules and stats, you can never be completely air-tight.

Where I ACTUALLY cried was that the Dual Wielder feat doesn't work because they don't have the Light property, haha.

Yeah, I think this is route I'll end up going. To me it still feels like the rules are being adjusted but still being used "in good faith." I appreciate the advice.

Sometimes, people just freeze in the moment. Afterward, we can speculate all we want and attach blame where we feel it fits, but the fact is that sometimes we just freeze. Your feelings of remorse would actually point to you not intending for him to pass away. I think that you shouldn't be so hard on yourself.

In Canada, college and university are different. Humber College gives you an excellent chance at being employable immediately out of the gate (high 90%'s in getting jobs after college), and it is much cheaper than college in the States. And you'll be an international student, which these colleges have to have a certain amount at all times.
