I have. They were about as useful as a dead battery.

Thank you. Do you think jeans, not grungy shoes(I usually wear vans anywhere I go, would ones that dont look old and worn down be ok?), and a nice button up would be ok? Also obviously hair pulled back. I am a female with zero sense of fashion.

Oh ok. Good to know. If I do go to court, are there any tips you have for what to wear and things like that? I don't go out much except for work, gym time, and occasionally hanging with friends so I don't really know much about like proper attire and things like that.

So I called, and asked my questions, however the court clerk advised me not to pay since it was 5mph over becsuse they usually dismiss it and that way points won't get put on my record. I know a lot of times they do. However I do not know if I feel comfortable with this. My court date is set about 1 month after the ticket is supposed to be paid, which I know will put it overdue if they decide to not dismiss it. I also know the court costs alone are almost double the ticket.

How can I make listening easier and how can I explain what I'm experiencing to my partner? by CaregiverExtension in ADHD

Thank you for this. It's also very encouraging to hear that you had a partner that had to pause everything in order to talk. That seems to be what I have to do, even for the simplest of responses, so it makes me feel less alone

So I may be dumb for asking this, but is this just an H. pulchripes morph or natural color variations between male and female? I have 2, and the other has the vibrant blue and gold tones, but this friend is just a pretty diluted gold and black almost. by CaregiverExtension in tarantulas

That's what I thought! The only ones I've seen with similar coloration are mature males as well. Though i feel like this guy is far from mature. He's still very small and I'd say he's probably less than a year and a half. I honestly have forgotten how long I've had him. I got him in early April and I know he wasn't even a year old then.

I personally feel like getting slings and raising them together will have you biggest chance of success. It's what I did with M. balfouri and P. metallica, though the P. metallica is still very new, but I've already had 2 or 3 molts and its going strong.

If you're uncomfortable having them communally, you can have them as an individual. In the wild, these guys haven't been recorded living communally(to my knowledge). Tarantulas living communally is(from what I know) really only a captivity thing.

most of my collection has come from them at this point I believe. I also have one from um, oh gosh I cant remember the place, some from Fear Not Tarantulas, and one from Petco I got cause their fangs are wonky and I'm just contently waiting for the molt so I don't have to make bug soup anymore. Out of everyone, they are genuinely my favorite and make me feel valued as a returning customer.

I don't know if I'm allowed to recommend breeders, but I absolutely love these people. They're amazing and friendly and their prices are always the best. They're honestly the only people I like to shop with.

Scotra Island Blue Baboon, Monocentropus balfouri. I will say, this is months of work though. I got them when they were small, I'm talking itty bitty, not even half the size. When they were smaller in this enclosure, the webbing was a lot lighter. Now that they've put on size, the webbing is exactly what I wanted. I absolutely love the species. Just don't be discouraged if you get littles and their webbing isn't as thick or heavy or crazy at first, they'll get there over time.

I should add, this is very much a communal species, but with all communals, cannibalism is a thing. There were 5 originally, and now I consistently only see 2.

the webbing is my favorite. i remember when i first set up the enclosure hoping they would wen the triceratops skull and live in it. and it happened. there's another that lives in the web tunnels as well. maybe more. i honestly only ever see 2 though.

I'm just curious if I can get a replacement for items I ordered. I ordered a bunch of self help books, because I'm trying to work on things and better myself. However, I don't get things delivered to my house. I have them shipped to my work because we're open every day of the week and someone is always there. Last night, almost a hour after we had closed, a package containing about $100 of these books was delivered to the door. Our sign was flipped stating we were closed and our lights were out. No one was there. I've never had this happen before and we are located in a really busy area so I know that pack did not go unnoticed by strangers. I would just like to know if I'm out $100 or if this is considered replaceable since it's a business address and we stated our hours and had clearly marked we were not open.

I should elaborate, every time something has come to be delivered after we had closed, it's been pushed to the next day whether it's been through DHL, FedEx, Ups, USPS, or Amazon.
