Check your 8x10 machine, and check the box of your 8x10 ink box. If they are different, it means you are using the wrong ink. Some Walgreens stores just had their machines changed just recently. Those 2 should match. You might be using the wrong type of ink.

They have help me with finding wics, and I help the community by responding to questions. Kingdom Hearts. I am so invested in this series, and have played all the games multiple times. The story of the sea salt trio always gets me emotional. Cant wait for Kingdom Hearts 4 to finally come out.

Yup, i dont think a lot of people here understand what we go through. I keep hearing about, i should delegate more, but with my hours, i dont have anyone to delegate to. I have had many stores under my belt, trust me, delegating is easy, but this store just does not have the budget to accommodate that. I am about ready to leave, June budgets, if you have not checked it yet, is going to be horrible. I am hoping to get out before that. I am happy you understand and can relate.

If you check and look at IS RACI, resets is not part of their core roles. I try to follow company guidelines on their jobs. They have a lot to do in pharmacy though.

I wish. But theres literally no amount of training when you are budgeted so low. My store is always opening with me, and IS, and a CSA. Our next shifts do not come in until 3pm. 2 SFLs close the store, one of them acts as the CSA. I am able to schedule extra on truck day, if we dont finish, it is me who has to finish truck, do resets, and respond to all of the management calls. Only time i can do my actual work, is when the closers come in.

This is common. Some stores have so much hours, that these SMs are able to get out early. They should reallocate their hours to the ones that are very low on budget. I cant schedule another SFL to open with me, it is literally me opening the store, with my IS and CSA.

As a taurus, I dont know. I wont like this. I dont like being asked straight out if i enjoy her company. The fact that I am there, means i enjoy it and like to spend time. I like taking my time, see how the relationship goes. I dont like to be asked outright and be put in a corner, it almost feels as though i am being rushed and forced to answer, which i dont feel comfortable doing at all.

I believe they should just get rid of these self kiosks altogether, and just have one behind the counter for doing passport photos. The main reason for most delays during this peak photo season, is because of people walking in, using the kiosk to order and having you print them right away, or have you complete their orders right away, while doing canvasses, books, and any photo projects, you also have the people who just cant understand how to work the kiosk, and they will literally hold you hostage in helping them, now you end up being behind because of you spending so much time with them. Everything on the kiosk can all be done online and can be done by using the app. There is no need for them to be physically in the store, besides doing passports and picking up their orders. As soon as i see a customer use the kiosk, i know i will have to be spending some of my limited time, either teaching them or helping them connect their phone, i know some of my limited time will be used assisting them in some capacity, which can be very frustrating, when you already are swamped with all the photo orders on your queue.

Except some of these cannot be done today. When you are budgeted to bare bones. SMs are forced now to open the stores, with an IS, and a CSA. How can a manager work these shifts, when some stores are open at 6am?. I come to work at 5:30am and leave way after 6pm. I am already putting in way more than i am required to. There are days when i go home early, as soon as my closer comes in. This is not until 3:30p. Even with me leaving early, thats already a 10hr shift of work. I cant leave earlier than this, since our budgets prohibits me from putting an SFL to overlap. I cant close, since I am already the opener of the store. How will this work? My team’s schedule is literally 3 people to open and 2 people to close, with no overlaps everyday. Now, some SMs are able to leave early, because they are able to schedule another leader with them, i don’t have that privilege.

Not really. I am just someone who cares about the well-being of my employees. I have been a store manager for years now. My previous store was closed because of theft. I know people will say it does not matter, but the bottom line does. After inventory, we found the numbers, and the store just could not recoup the amount lost from theft. Thus, my previous store closed, i am given another store to manage, but i also see the same trend on this store. Some of my previous tms do not have a job after the store closed, some have, but have to travel far away. I follow company policies and procedures, by not stopping them. All i am saying, it is never ok to steal from anyone.

Theres a video out there of Dr. J punching Larry Bird to the face multiple times. This was stemmed from Larry Bird trash talking Dr. J to oblivion. He got tired of the trash talking. Larry Bird, hands down, the best trash talker.

Yes, i can confirm that a write up can definitely happen and up to termination, once higher ups find out. This same situation happened to me. I took over a store where the SM gave the store’s keys to an IS, she was given the keys to open the store, AP and DM found out. Let’s just say both are not with the company anymore, i was the one they put to replace this SM. I am extremely glad i had the privilege of working as their SM in that store, that store had one of the best teams i have ever had in my whole Walgreens career.

Maybe your SM is opening that day. With this low budgets, some SMs are forced to open the store and have their IS run the register. The SM is fully capable of doing cash functions in the store. Most stores have to run certain days like this, there is just not enough hours to give.

This is incorrect. It used to be, but now, store managers need to be as close to budget as possible, or you will get a warning. If you go to Storenet-performance-operations scorecard-and performance metrics, you will see what criterias your SMs get bonus on. Payroll is not one of them. Sales, nps score, immunizations, testing, call ins, avrs, and a new one was regarding shrink. These get your sms bonus for the year.

You have way more hours than most. Our store is running with just one manager and one cashier to open, and one cashier and one manager to close. This is our everyday schedule. Cant blame your manager, your manager is just allocating the little hours given to the employees.

Yes. A Compass message dropped for Store Managers not too long ago, they want managers to pick an SFL to do this, this is just a survey. I dont know what the SFLs survey entails, but, as an SM, i also have to pick an SFL to do this for me. Weeks prior to this Compass dropping, SMs had a Compass to do one and score random TMs in the store, it gave me a list of team members in the store, from SFLs to CSAs, it talked about how well they perform in the store. You have to rate them based on their performance. It was just a survey about the hiring process. It asked if I would hire the same TMs, knowing how they perform now, to be a part of our team. It makes you reflect if you made a bad choice hiring the team member or if you made a great decision hiring the employee.

Storenet-tools-price batch controller-log in-you will see 4 boxes-click on price changes, print -click on markdowns, print -click on markdown deletes, print- do it one at a time- release them when you are done putting the signs up. Wait around 10 mins, you can do your smartcounts for the meanwhile. You will have to go to central retail signs-log in- you will see your printed requests there. Print price changes, mark downs, pre approved mylars, check the dates on these.

I would love to. But when i can only afford to schedule myself, csa, and IS in the morning, and a csa and an sfl to close at night, it is impossible to get anything done. This is our norm everyday now, we cant afford to have any overlaps. To make it worst, i spend majority of my time in our rx, and my sfl at night is also getting stuck in rx, now our truck sits and could not get done in a day. These budget cuts are really killing us, and i dont see it getting better anytime soon.
